My parents and I (and our new puppy Harry) went to Abbott’s last week of June 2023. My parents ordered 2 “OMG Hot Lobster Rolls” which they order everytime…and they do not get disappointed! I don’t care for lobster so I purchased the half rack of Ribs….and All I can say is, they are the ABSOLUTE BEST! Every Long Horn Restaurant need to lessons because Abbott’s Ribs were “fall-off the bone” Delicious!!!!! The only thing I would suggest is substituting the corn on the cob, then again I feel corn is not in season until Aug to Sept. The corn did not have any taste. Perhaps use can corn instead. My first time going to Abbott’s and I WILL BE BACK!!!! Oh, and the Strawberry Shortcake was Wonderful, too. Sorry I forgot to take a picture.

Not only is it The Quint essential inew. England lobster shack, but the food is good. The service is fairly fast, and the portions of lobster and other seafood are good, but maybe one of the best parts is the location. Its views are spectacular. It’s where the mystic river meets the ocean. Sailboats and fishing boats passing see the photo. It really is a place not to be missed.

Heard all good things about Abbott’s Lobster in the Rough in Noank, CT so we drove an hour up and on the water we found a wonderful place. Run like a Swiss watch, the food was absolutely wonderful, reasonable, the 2-3 pound lobsters pre-cracked in all the right places, steamers were between 2-3 dozen per order and non-lobster lovers were happy as well. Excellent value, too.
