My husband and I grew up in Rochester and we were so excited to see an Abbotts here when we moved to Greer! We brought our family to this location and it’s a spot on duplicate of the custard we grew up enjoying. The location is great in downtown & it’s very inviting. I love the waffle cone smell that hits you upon entering. They offer samples of all the flavors. The flavor of the day differs (highly recommend the pistachio pineapple!) but you can always count on vanilla, chocolate and chocolate almond. There is outside seating available also. Dog friendly & the kids loved it! We will definitely be coming back soon!

Went here for a treat after a good trip to the doctors office. $17 for our family of four to each get a treat so that’s not bad. Cute little place! Guy behind the counter was very nice and patient waiting for my toddlers to make their selections as well.

This butter pecan smooth custard treat was a great afternoon addition to visiting downtown Greer. It was absolutely whipped to perfection. I never noticed it was there before. It was delicious!!!

I came to Abbott’s with high expectations, excited to try what I assumed would be freshly made frozen custard. Unfortunately, I was let down after speaking with an employee who told me that most of the flavors are made by simply adding syrups or flavorings to a base mix not made fresh on site. While the texture was fine, the taste felt artificial, and the overall experience didn’t live up to the hype.

Also, I’m genuinely confused how this place has such a high rating for what is essentially very basic custard. If you’re expecting handcrafted, freshly made custard, this probably isn’t the spot for you.

I took my family there and the ordered chocolate shakes. They said it was yummy. The young employee did a great job and we noticed he’s a good & hard working young man. We look forward to returning here.

Really delicious custard and fresh waffle cones. Prices are a little expensive but flavors are fresh and good portions. Good service and varying daily flavors, smells delicious just walking by. Glad to have stumbled on this place not far from the house. Chocolate almond and espresso flavors are a must try! Lemon also good! Vanilla was pup approved!

My family loves abbotts. After we get something there my husband raids the pint refrigerator and comes home with eight more pints for us. My favorite is fluffernutter.

Ladies and gents, gather ‘round and let me regale you with a tale of frozen wonderment from the heart of Greer, SC. I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the creamy dreamscape that is Abbott’s Frozen Custard, and let me tell you, it’s not just your average ice cream parlor—oh no, it’s an oasis of sweet delight!

From the moment you step foot into Abbott’s, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that practically screams, “Hey there, partner! Ready for a taste of happiness?” The staff is as friendly as your favorite neighbor who always brings the best potluck dish. They’re eager to help you navigate the dizzying array of custard options with a smile that could melt even the coldest of hearts—or at least the coldest of custards.

Now, let’s talk about the star of the show: the frozen custard. It’s smoother than a jazz saxophonist’s midnight serenade and richer than a high-stakes poker game. Each scoop is like a velvety hug for your taste buds. Whether you’re diving into a classic vanilla or taking a wild ride with their seasonal flavors, you’re in for a treat that’s as memorable as a high school reunion with the cool kids.

Speaking of flavors, Abbott’s has a menu that’s practically bursting with options. They’ve got everything from the simple joys of chocolate to adventurous combos that might just make your grandma’s recipe book look a bit bland in comparison. And don’t even get me started on the toppings! It’s like a candy carnival exploded on top of your custard, and who doesn’t love a little carnival action?

The ambiance is also top-notch. It’s cozy and charming, the kind of place where you might find yourself daydreaming about your next visit while still savoring the last bite of your current one.

In summary, Abbott’s Frozen Custard in Greer is the real deal. It’s where frozen custard dreams come true and calories are just a figment of your imagination. So, next time you find yourself in the area and craving a sweet escape, make your way to Abbott’s. Your taste buds will thank you, and you might just leave with a smile as wide as the Grand Canyon. Keep on custarding, Abbott’s!

First time trying Abbott’s. I tried half-n-half of chocolate and coffee Oreo. My wife tried chocolate almond and coconut. Flavors burst and the custard was smooth. In a word, Awesome! Caitlin was the best and Erin was busy keeping it churning. We’ll be back.
