What a fantastic find! #1 the staff is absolutely lovely. You feel like you’re being greeted by old friends. Our expectations were low since we haven’t been terribly impressed by many food establishments in the area. When we recommend places to guests, it’s only places we truly enjoy. It’s important to support the small businesses, so we do a 25 mile radius.
We were just trying to find someplace different when we ran out to get eggs & cheeses from Cody’s farm store about 8 miles away. Highly recommend that stop too.
The food we ordered was outstanding!!! We got the delicious special sausage & risotta arencini as an appetizer. Pear & walnut salad with housemade dressing. My personal favorite is the Chicken Piccata. It is what I test at new places (extra capers) & it was perfection in every bite.
My husband really enjoyed his Sorritino, but said my sauce was way more flavorful.
Desserts are all made in house, & I questioned for specifics. For real! Hand made conolli shells & filling. Not just pre-order & filled. Can’t wait to try next time.
My chocolate moose cake was excellent! Huge slice. Still nibbling on it 3 days later.
Only ding was the Titamisu was just too much alcohol. It’s the reason I never order it around here, But George likes it. It was way to strong for him to eat. In Italy it’s only made with real Espresso. A touch coffee liquor in espresso would be sufficient for added flavor. Some might love it this way.

We tried this restaurant earlier this month for my birthday. What a great find!!! We had great service (without hovering) and fantastic food. The cook was happy to ensure my food was gluten free. I even got a free dessert for my birthday. We will definitely go back now that we’ve found such a fabulous local restaurant.

Our family catered a meal for 10-12 people from here recently. It was my first time having it and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and welcoming while we waited. We also heard the head chef faced some unexpected adversity but single handily overcame it. The chef himself was very involved with the customers coming in and out. You can tell he truly cares and takes pride in the meals he prepares. That dedication and pride is reflected in meals. We highly recommend this place for those who have yet to experience it.

This is hands-down our favorite Italian restaurant. My husband and I have been coming here regularly since they opened, and the food has never disappointed. It’s always delicious, well prepared, and generously portioned. The service is excellent every single time, even when they’re clearly short-staffed. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

After a busy day, an authentic Italian dish was on my mind. My wife and I had a busy day preparing for the thanksgiving and Christmas dinner that we decided to order out for dinner. We dined in at the restaurant and were greeted by Marilyn. She did a fantastic job providing some recommendations and I decided to go with their recommendation. My wife ordered off the menu and she loved it. Hugo came along to greet us to ensure our experience went well because the restaurant picked up and coming guests and it became busier. He provided some amazing drink ideas and his customer service was excellent. My wife and I are new to town and know this will be a frequent restaurant we plan to dine in at. We’re accustomed to restaurants near Algonquin to order this type of quality but this felt more authentic and we truly appreciated the quality of service. Beef tips are tender and juicy, the cabinet is full bodied and had amazing notes of taste. Their chicken parm was flavorful and delicious. Overall, an amazing meal and delicious experience. Please taste for yourself! I ended the night with an old fashioned and don’t be shy to take a desert for the road. We sure considered it.

Went to this little gem on Friday night for the first time with friends. The food was fantastic and service was impressive. The bartender on staff made some very yummy drinks! The atmosphere was very old world and I would definitely say that we will be back!

Starting with the Bruschetta and Goat Cheese Spread as our appetizer was an awesome choice. The combination of fresh ingredients left us eager for the main course. My wife’s Chicken Parmigiana and my Lasagna were not only delicious but also served in large portions, making every penny worthwhile. The chef’s commitment to quality and authenticity truly shone through in these hearty and satisfying dishes.
To cap off the meal, we indulged in the Tiramisu, which turned out to be the best I’ve ever had. The layer of delicate sponge cake, rich whip cream, and a hint of coffee created a dessert that was both decadent and balanced. It was a perfect ending to an already impressive dining experience. 10/10!

This dinner was really good, we will be back. The waitress was attentive and friendly. We got an appetizer of steamed clams, they were sold out of baked clams. The appetizer was tasty but the clams were super small – about the size of a lima bean. I had never seen clams that small before. Because of that, I wouldn’t order that again, it wasn’t a value. I ordered the veal picatta. It was very good. It came with a salad. I ordered the gorgonzola salad which cost $4 more. The salad was over the top delicious with gorgonzola cheese, pecans and balsamic dressing. Excellent. My husband got sorentino chicken w/ eggplant, he said it was good. Presentation was wonderful. They have pelligrino water. I was thrilled for that. It’s not carried in a lot of places. My husband drank blue moon. They were out of his first choice. All in all it was a good experience.
