FINALLY GOOD PICKLES, you want real deli come here. The food took a bit to come out but we were there during peak time and it was definitely worth it. The burger club (I think that was the name) was really good, definitely recommend that with the chips. The key lime pie was also very tasty, it had the perfect tang. Overall this was a very enjoyable experience especially since my family has history with this place and I was able to listen to their stories about it. Definitely recommend here except you should plan around the wait for the food, but it IS worth it!

Aaron’s Deli is part of the same establishment as Hyman’s Seafood but seems like an afterthought. They might be ok if you sit at the bar, but getting a take out order taken and filled was like pulling teeth. The bartenders made it clear they weren’t concerned with serving to-go orders, and repeatedly prioritized serving bar patrons instead of filling our order. 25 minutes for a to-go order is ridiculous. I wouldn’t waste my time again.

Pastrami Rueben meat was terrible. Mostly fat and couldn’t chew the pieces that weren’t fat.
Bartender was not friendly and very slow to take orders.
Friendly patrons and good atmosphere. Odd that Aaron’s Deli is really just arm (meaning section of menu) of Hyman Seafood restaurant. So maybe that’s why meat was awful and I should have ordered sea food.

We were heading to Aaron’s Deli for lunch, but after walking up and down the block a few times, we were told it was the same entrance as their Hyman’s Seafood Restaurant. They seem to be separate, but I guess you can sit in either place and choose your menu. The restaurant consists of many dining rooms both upstairs and downstairs in an old building. After being sent upstairs to the Restaurant dining area, we were pleasantly greeted by a charming waiter. He brought out a bowl of boiled peanuts and took our orders from the deli menu.The place was busy, and the wait staff seemed rushed, but our waiter checked back often.
I had a delicious She Crab Soup, and a wonderful (but messy) Fried Green Tomato BLT. My husband had the Reuben that was wonderful. If we’d been there another day, I would have tried their Seafood menu for dinner. Definitely not a fancy place, but we would definitely return.

Awful experience! Food was extremely slow coming out, appetizer came with entree.
3 out 5 orders were wrong. 1 didn’t come at all. When asked to speak to manager, he explained “fires were down for frying” but never apologized for anything. Have come here several times, but will not come back. So disappointing!

Took over an hour to get a salad and burger to go. All the locals avoid this place, and it only exists to serve cruise guests. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere.
