I was glad to see an Indian restaurant open nearby. The ambience is alright, and the customer service is decent too.

However, they really need to step up when it comes to the food.

The portion sizes for the appetizers are small considering the price.
The fish was disappointing — full of dye, seemed at least a few days old, and smelled rotten. I wasn’t expecting that on a Friday evening.
The mutton was tough and soggy, while the chicken was somewhat passable.
We also ordered biryanis separately — they were okay, but I wouldn’t really call them biryani.
Why would you put curry leaves in a biryani?

I’ve ordered from this restaurant multiple times now, trying a mix of starters and their Mutton Dum Biryani, hoping to find a reliable spot for Indian non-veg dishes in this area. Unfortunately, it’s been a hit-or-miss experience, leaning more towards disappointment overall.

Starters (Tried three different ones across orders):
Consistently underwhelming. None of them had any real flavor – they tasted bland, under-seasoned, and lacked the expected spice kick or aroma that good Indian starters should have. Whether it was the first order (two types) or the third (another one), they all fell flat. If you’re planning to order appetizers, I’d strongly suggest skipping them or looking elsewhere.

Mutton Dum Biryani:
This is where it gets inconsistent. The first time I ordered it, it was genuinely good – flavorful rice, tender mutton pieces, well-balanced spices, and that classic dum-cooked aroma. It lived up to expectations and made me come back for more. However, the second time was noticeably subpar compared to the first: the flavors were muted, the mutton wasn’t as tender, and it just didn’t hit the same high note.

Irani Chai: Over Sweet

Masala Chai: Good

Snacks: I tried their Mirchi Bajji, Stuffed Mirchi Bajji and two types of Punugulu. Everything is tasty.

Tiffins: I tried Dosa and it was alright. However I see the size and taste difference based on their offers. With regular price, the size of dosa is good. When there is a bogo offer for $9.99, size reduced and the taste differed when compared to regular price.

The biryani has potential (that first order was promising), but the inconsistency and poor starters make it hard to recommend wholeheartedly. If you’re craving mutton biryani specifically, it might be worth a cautious try once, but don’t expect reliability. For a more consistent experience, I’d explore other options in the area. Hoping they improve their quality control!

I had the chicken fried rice here, and it tastes just like the ones back in India! The quality, taste, and quantity are all top-notch. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant — it’s absolutely worth it!

I had the cilantro chicken and the pachimirchi kodi pulav — both were absolutely delicious! Great quality, quantity, and each dish is easily enough for two people. The flavors were spot-on, and the service was excellent. Definitely coming back

Ordered Mutton Dum Biryani as suggested but the entire meat is waste bones with less than 1% meat and everything is bone. Taste seems ok like Hyderabad style but with extra elachi flavor. Parchi Mirchi Pulao is a total wack and worst chicken taste and no taste of pulao. Finally the appetizer Aaha Special Chicken 999, where 999 seems to be a mix of 999 chicken recipes. This taste so worse that it’s a mix of pepper chicken and chicken Manchurian with less soy sauce and more pepper and veggies, even the veggies added aren’t sauteed well.

Total Wack and Waste of 50$ on this. I completely ignored the previous reviews. I feel those all 4 and 5 STAR reviews are Fake or Self made.

Just make them taste better for the price we are paying.

TOTAL WASTE AND WORSE FOOD!!!!

We recently ordered food from this restaurant for an event of 250 people, and it was an absolute hit! The Gobi Manchurian was perfectly crispy and flavorful, while the Chicken 999 and Karampodi Chicken were crowd favorites with their rich, authentic spices. The Phool Makhani was creamy and delicious, and the Mutton Curry was cooked to perfection. Their Mutton Biryani truly captured the authentic Hyderabadi taste we were craving. The noodles were easily the best in the city! To top it off, the Double Ka Meeta with crispy dry fruits and zafrani aroma, along with the Kala Jamun, made for a perfect dessert finale. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine!

I ordered a mutton biryani and an Aaha special chicken appetizer, and both dishes were outstanding. They had a perfect blend of spices, and I enjoyed every bite of the biryani. Unlike other restaurants, the mutton biryani pieces were exceptionally tender, and the appetizer was excellent. Even my kids enjoyed both dishes. This is a must-try restaurant in Celina; I plan to visit again and recommend it to others.

“Finally, authentic spice in Celina! Aaha Kitchen nailed it. The chicken Biryani was awesome—rich in flavor and the meat was tender. We also tried the Karampodi Chicken, and it was superb. It’s got that perfect dry-spice punch that pairs so well with the rice. Definitely our new go-to for Indian cravings.”

Health Alert:
Please don’t eat biryani here.
Today I ordered Chicken Dum Biryani and Fry Piece Biryani, and both were extremely disappointing.
First of all, I don’t understand why they even call this biryani. The rice had a strong raw chilli powder smell instead of proper biryani aroma. The fry piece biryani was the worst — they literally used a tawa-fried, oily chicken (not even properly dried) and placed it between the rice. It was soaked in oil and did not smell fresh at all.
The taste was terrible, quality was very poor, and it felt unhealthy to eat. If I wasn’t busy, I would have gone back and asked for a refund.
This is one of the worst biryani experiences I’ve had.
Seriously, please don’t eat biryani here and save your health.
