On the positive side, the restaurant is very clean and well maintained. The experience wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t memorable. Decent option if you’re nearby, but there’s room for improvement in balancing the flavors.
The Tandori chicken is cooked fresh and the meat is incredibly tender and moist. Spiced to perfection, and in the sizzling platter. Their curry is also amazing. I lived in England for some time and I think this is still yhe best curry I have ever had. I definitely recommend this reatraunt.
The service was also fantastic — attentive, friendly, and happy to offer suggestions. Even without a deep knowledge of Indian cuisine, we felt welcomed and taken care of.
This spot is definitely worth checking out. We’ll be back to explore more of the menu!
This location sit between Des Moines and SeaTac inside 4Points Hotel. With it it being inside the hotel with no clear outside signage. Once you get parked at the hotel parking, you can inter through the hotel door access. Before, it guest would have to walk around from the outside.
The first 2 visits were decent and trying different options to see what we like. One item that became a hit with us was Chicken 65. We also enjoyed the Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala.
The day I made this post, we were immensely dissatisfied with food. The initial server was very brash and borderline rude. Another server became more attentive in which it help diffuse out customer service frustration.
We ordered the Chicken Methi Gosht. It was good though I prefer other curry based items. It was my first time trying this item. Mango Chicken seemed to have something missing. Redmond location seemed to have a better recipe on this item. Chicken 65 was overcooked and hard as if sat under a heating lamp. No BUENO! Only thing that was good and seemed fresh was the garlic nann bread.
My wife only enjoyed the food from the Karnishka Redmond, Wa and we ultimately left to grab Popeyes Chicken down the road. Popeyes turned out to be more enjoyable over stiff and hard spicy Chicken 65.
The menu offered a wide variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone. The appetizers were the highlight, with delicious flavors and perfectly seasoned salads. The vegetarian curries were tasty, though they felt a bit more Americanized (low spices and added sugars), catering to a broader palate. The salad options were fresh and vibrant, and the desserts provided a sweet ending to the meal.
Service is a hit or miss.. with $50 per person meal this is a bit disappointing. Our first time everything was good, second and third times it was poorly managed. Many dishes were not being refilled fast enough – naan, panipuri, desserts and couple curries. On Father’s day, holiday welcome was for selective guests only not sure why or based on what.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely, welcoming and comfortable, making it a great spot for a casual yet satisfying lunch. Overall, a decent place for a diverse and flavorful buffet experience though there’s room for improvement in service!
