Inside, the brightly decorated dining room immediately made me feel comfortable. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a glass of Cabernet along with the Avocado Rolls. To my surprise, the chef came out to introduce themselves and even offered me a sample of a new dish they were testing for the next day’s menu–it was amazing!
The staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant was spotless, and the menu offered an impressive variety: everything from salads, pho, rice and vermicelli dishes to poke bowls, seafood, and vegetarian specials.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in New Smyrna Beach–or even as a reason to visit the beach in the first place!
Our waitress, Josielyn was amazing. This was our first visit and she went over the menu and made some good recommendations to get us started. She was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect during our visit.
We tried a variety of food and everything was amazing! The Calamari appetizer, chicken wing appetizer, pho(we tried beef broth), shaken beef, and the rice platter with grilled pork. We had zero left overs. I requested a fried egg on my rice platter and the egg was done perfectly. I wish I had a photo, but got excited and ate it before I remembered.
Creme Brule was so good. It is probably the best I’ve had in years! I can’t even remember one that compares.
I love the family history shared in the menu, as it resonates with our family as well.
We sat inside and were comfortable. Lots of seating inside and out. They had some chill background music playing. The acoustics are good here, so conversation with friends and family shouldn’t be an issue.
Definitely give this place a try if you happen to be in New Smyrna! We will be back!
Service is top notch from every single server, hostess, right down to management, Tom, Kim & Neon checking in with you personally to make sure you are enjoying your dining experience.
When you dine @AA Garden Fusion, you are 100% family♥️
A MUST when visiting NSB!
I wanted to share a different perspective because my experience at this restaurant has consistently been the opposite of the recent review posted. This place is run by one of the most hardworking, caring, and family-oriented teams I’ve ever seen in the restaurant industry. The owners and staff truly treat both their employees and their customers like family — with respect, kindness, and pride in the food they serve.
The kitchen works incredibly hard from open to close, and the quality has always been consistent no matter what time I arrive. If anything, I’ve seen them go above and beyond to make dishes fresh and perfect, even right before closing. They take great pride in portion size, presentation, and flavor — it’s part of their identity.
As for management, I’ve only ever witnessed professionalism and genuine care. This is a tight-knit, family-run restaurant, so communication often happens in a small space, but it comes from passion, not disrespect. The environment has always felt warm, welcoming, and far from anything “trashy.”
Regarding accessibility, the restaurant is cozy — as many beloved local spots are — but I’ve personally seen the staff accommodate guests with mobility challenges with patience and kindness. They always do their best to help everyone feel comfortable.
This restaurant has been a staple for years because the owners pour their heart into it every day. The food, service, and integrity of this family deserve recognition, not mischaracterization. I will continue to support them wholeheartedly.
So when I was last in, Steven told us the servers were having a friendly competition to see who could get the most reviews, because Google apparently deletes reviews after 5 years (which makes sense, and I will have to make sure to stay on top of my reviews. I hope this isn’t too late to help your competition Steven).
This place opened when I was in high school, and I have never been disappointed by any of the food that I have tried. Whether it was a duck ramen they were trying out for a weekend, or the menu item staple of lobster ragoons, everything I have ever had has been delicious and satisfying. Even when I have brought guests from out of town, everyone has been impressed by how delicious the food tastes. And I say that as a Vietnamese person who grew up with Vietnamese food made by her grandma.
But what really made this place one that I frequent is the fact that they have the best creme brulee I have ever had in my life. Even when they are changing the flavor of it, it is always melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly creamy. And the sugar layer on top is nicely toasted and not overly burnt. Even my husband confesses that it is good, and he is not a fan of creme brulee (but does love the Asian alfredo from this restaurant).
Everyone is always so friendly, and the service is always great. And if you want a little fun, they host karaoke nights on Mondays. And if you would rather not, they have a nice outdoor area to eat at too.
The service was amazing, I know the roosters outside weren’t apart of the restaurant. However, they made the experience a bit better.
