Worth the 1 hour drive every-time ! Food is fresh, well seasoned and still carries that authentic Vietnamese taste . Stephen our server was an amazing attentive host. The Beef Betel leaf was complex in taste , tender. Spicy tuna pancakes were also rich in flavor and not oily .

We decided to make reservations and they had the seating inside. It was a great spot. Jen was SO enthusiastic. She was a great server. She was super familiar with the different dishes and it was a hit. I loved the wings appetizer with the Thai sweet chili. My daughter loves the spring roles. She ordered the Round eye steak PHO with meatballs and I had the combination PHO with shrimp, beef, and chicken. The broth was really good. We even had dessert. My daughter ordered the Mango Creme Brulee and I had the s’mores lava cake. Again did not disappoint. Even the water was tasty. Not like the metallic Central Florida water. One thing when you are coming down Canal St after the draw bridge heading toward the beach, the restaurant is on your left and just as you pass the spot you will notice a driveway, go in there it is customer parking.

I stopped into Garden Fusion over Labor Day weekend for a glass of wine and an appetizer–and I’m so glad I did! This award-winning, cozy spot offers a fusion of Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese cuisine. Out front, there’s a charming seating area under a pergola that sets a welcoming tone.

Inside, the brightly decorated dining room immediately made me feel comfortable. I grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a glass of Cabernet along with the Avocado Rolls. To my surprise, the chef came out to introduce themselves and even offered me a sample of a new dish they were testing for the next day’s menu–it was amazing!

The staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant was spotless, and the menu offered an impressive variety: everything from salads, pho, rice and vermicelli dishes to poke bowls, seafood, and vegetarian specials.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in New Smyrna Beach–or even as a reason to visit the beach in the first place!

TLDR: This place was good. Go try it!

Our waitress, Josielyn was amazing. This was our first visit and she went over the menu and made some good recommendations to get us started. She was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect during our visit.

We tried a variety of food and everything was amazing! The Calamari appetizer, chicken wing appetizer, pho(we tried beef broth), shaken beef, and the rice platter with grilled pork. We had zero left overs. I requested a fried egg on my rice platter and the egg was done perfectly. I wish I had a photo, but got excited and ate it before I remembered.

Creme Brule was so good. It is probably the best I’ve had in years! I can’t even remember one that compares.

I love the family history shared in the menu, as it resonates with our family as well.

We sat inside and were comfortable. Lots of seating inside and out. They had some chill background music playing. The acoustics are good here, so conversation with friends and family shouldn’t be an issue.

Definitely give this place a try if you happen to be in New Smyrna! We will be back!

This has been my spot for more than a year now. Great food and Cold drinks. Owner is awesome. Servers are all great. Good music. One of the few places with island vibes in NSB. They know what they’re doing here. Thank you Steven for today’s outstanding service and for this review request. Well deserved 5 star.

Best Vietnamese food in all of Volusia County! May I start by raving about the selection of appetizers which are each amazing, the chicken pho soup is outstanding, & def enough to share with 2-3 ppl. My fav entree by far is the Shaken Beef with extra gravy & rice and WOW, every single desert selection is equally as delicious!
Service is top notch from every single server, hostess, right down to management, Tom, Kim & Neon checking in with you personally to make sure you are enjoying your dining experience.
When you dine @AA Garden Fusion, you are 100% family♥️
A MUST when visiting NSB!

A Very Different Experience — Truly One of the Most Caring, Hardworking Families in the Business

I wanted to share a different perspective because my experience at this restaurant has consistently been the opposite of the recent review posted. This place is run by one of the most hardworking, caring, and family-oriented teams I’ve ever seen in the restaurant industry. The owners and staff truly treat both their employees and their customers like family — with respect, kindness, and pride in the food they serve.

The kitchen works incredibly hard from open to close, and the quality has always been consistent no matter what time I arrive. If anything, I’ve seen them go above and beyond to make dishes fresh and perfect, even right before closing. They take great pride in portion size, presentation, and flavor — it’s part of their identity.

As for management, I’ve only ever witnessed professionalism and genuine care. This is a tight-knit, family-run restaurant, so communication often happens in a small space, but it comes from passion, not disrespect. The environment has always felt warm, welcoming, and far from anything “trashy.”

Regarding accessibility, the restaurant is cozy — as many beloved local spots are — but I’ve personally seen the staff accommodate guests with mobility challenges with patience and kindness. They always do their best to help everyone feel comfortable.

This restaurant has been a staple for years because the owners pour their heart into it every day. The food, service, and integrity of this family deserve recognition, not mischaracterization. I will continue to support them wholeheartedly.

TLDR version: The best creme brulee you will ever eat in your life if it is on the dessert rotation when you come, and all the food has been delicious in all my experiences.

So when I was last in, Steven told us the servers were having a friendly competition to see who could get the most reviews, because Google apparently deletes reviews after 5 years (which makes sense, and I will have to make sure to stay on top of my reviews. I hope this isn’t too late to help your competition Steven).

This place opened when I was in high school, and I have never been disappointed by any of the food that I have tried. Whether it was a duck ramen they were trying out for a weekend, or the menu item staple of lobster ragoons, everything I have ever had has been delicious and satisfying. Even when I have brought guests from out of town, everyone has been impressed by how delicious the food tastes. And I say that as a Vietnamese person who grew up with Vietnamese food made by her grandma.

But what really made this place one that I frequent is the fact that they have the best creme brulee I have ever had in my life. Even when they are changing the flavor of it, it is always melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly creamy. And the sugar layer on top is nicely toasted and not overly burnt. Even my husband confesses that it is good, and he is not a fan of creme brulee (but does love the Asian alfredo from this restaurant).

Everyone is always so friendly, and the service is always great. And if you want a little fun, they host karaoke nights on Mondays. And if you would rather not, they have a nice outdoor area to eat at too.

Fresh, fresh, fresh! Fresh ingredients, fresh air dining and freshly pleasing, courteous servers who are knowledgeable about the amazing passed-down family recipes! Stipe, our server, went out of his way to make sure we had the best dinner of our vacation in NSB! The lush, tropical secluded back patio with its melodious water feature made us wonder if perhaps we were back in Saigon. Both the owner and manager were also very attendant to our needs and we had lovely conversations with truly professional restaurateurs.

The food was delicious and the portions were plenty. We didn’t have to wait at all for a table, I think we just came at a good time and were super lucky.
The service was amazing, I know the roosters outside weren’t apart of the restaurant. However, they made the experience a bit better.
