Tried A5 on Pearland Parkway for some pho after it was recommended by a good friend. I ordered the plain pho since they didn’t have Pho Gà, and my hubby went with the pho that included flank meat. I added beef meatballs to mine, hoping to give it a little extra flavor and texture.
The pho itself wasn’t bad, but the meatballs were extremely dense—felt a bit like eating superballs, though I don’t think they’d actually bounce. My hubby said his flank meat was pretty chewy too, so the meat overall just wasn’t giving what we hoped for. Maybe we were already bummed that the chicken pho wasn’t available, and that set the tone.
On the positive side, the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was spotless. Cleanliness and good service always go a long way.
Overall, I’d give it a solid 3 out of 5. Not a bad experience at all, just not quite what we were hoping for this time.

This is my second time dining at this restaurant, and the food is absolutely amazing! The bún thịt nướng was fresh and flavorful — the grilled meat was tender, the vegetables crisp, and the spring roll perfectly fried. The pho here is also delicious. Everything from the service to the cleanliness is top-notch. Highly recommend this place!

Visiting Pearland, TX from Pennsylvania, we were craving noodles and A5 Restaurant did not disappoint! The ramen was flavorful, and the fish and calamari were super fresh. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is friendly. Can’t wait to come back and try their Vietnamese coffees, hoagies, and phở!

This place is very delicious! I order the Ramen, any of them are very tasty and fulfilling. The wait staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, I go with my family, wife and two boys ages 4 (pho) and 11 ( chicken skewers). We always leave very satisfied, definitely recommend!

I had a fantastic experience at this ramen restaurant! Started off with delicious edamame, then savored a ribeye skewer cooked to perfection. The ramen was rich and flavorful, and the seafood poke bowl was a delightful surprise. I ordered the poke bowl so that I could try the variety of the menu but after trying my wife’s ramen I wish I would have got my own. The fun atmosphere and great service really topped off the experience. Can’t wait to come back!

We only had appetizers and yakitori. Food was good, but skewers were skimpy. Shrimp yakitori came with shell unpeeled, so very hard to eat. Soup and Pho looked better, but didn’t try. Service was very poor, no attention to tables, had to ask for plates and drink refills. Too far to drive for average in my book.

I’m visiting Houston with some friends and they took me out for Dinner here. The service is fantastic and the food is amazing. We ordered quite a spread, among my favorites were the grilled veggies and the mackerel. The staff is amazing and attentative and I absolutely would recommend if you are seeking a casual environment with good drinks and yakitori.
