This place has the BEST vegetarian samosa’s I’ve ever had in my life. Consistently delicious. I order no less than 12 -15 at a time. They are fairly large and packed with filling.
Their malai kofta dish is my second favorite item to order and I always get a few of their homemade garlic naan. Every item smells heavenly and is absolutely delicious.
I have only ever ordered take out for pick up but they have a full buffet with an indoor dining room. They also have a very large offering of sweets. They offer Indian vegetarian cuisine.
I highly suggest calling ahead to order for pick up. Make sure to sign up for their customer rewards program to get text message offers and discounts.

Placed an uber order for 2 Chana bhatura for work lunch and they packed everything in one container (family style) I have ordered before and it’s always packed separately. As soon as we open the Chana container, couple of long dark hair right on top of the Chana. Disgusting. Never ordering food from this place again. Their quality of food and service has gone so bad!

I love the food here! I have been a loyal customer for years and will keep coming back. The dining area is plain. I usually do take out to eat at home. And the service is good though I have placed online orders well in advance and they were not prepared for pick up. Small thing but if you’re in a hurry it might matter. Otherwise, this is a perfect spot for delicious vegetarian options. Also good for little treats and extras, cards, sweet boxes etc. Highly recommend!

I had a guest that wanted to come over. Quickly went to the restaurant around 4pm and ordered vegetable pakora. On my way home I opened the package and I was shocked to see that all the pakoras were burnt and cannot be served. I called and said that I was going back to the restaurant and wanted a some fresh pakoras. I was told that that is how their pakoras were. This girl needs to be taught some customer service.
Thank God on my way home I found a new location of Rajdhani sweets that just opened up in the laird road Costco plaza in Mississauga. They saved my day. Never again A1 sweets!

Today I had guests at my home and I ordered food worth about $100 from here. The food was very good and the customer service was excellent. Gurleen helped me over the phone and explained everything in detail prices, quantities, and how much food would be enough for the number of people. I usually order food from outside but I have never received such helpful and patient service before. This is the first time I felt that all my questions were properly answered. The food was already great and all my guests loved it. The customer service is outstanding. I will definitely come back again!

Went to get dinner for myself and it was awful. The worst $19 I have spent! The sauce with the paneer and peas dish was like water. No taste. It was cheese in colored water.
This place used to be my favorite restaurant when we moved to Oakville 16 years ago.
I will never return to this restaurant again. This isn’t the first time the food been bad and a disappointment. Guess I should have known better to go back and give them another try.
The service was very unfriendly in addition to the bad food.
Sad to see how the food had deteriorated.

We have been to A1 Sweets and Restaurant many times over the years. Unfortunately, their food quality seems to have deteriorated over time.
We ordered their Poori Bhaji for lunch today. The pooris were too big which was not an issue, but the quantity of the Aloo (potato) Bhaji was too little for the gigantic pooris. The Aloo Bhaji was not tasty, and had very few potato pieces. We had to have most of the pooris with the curry (without the potatoes).
My partner requested for some additional Bhaji as he had one whole poori left to eat, but his Bhaji had finished. The server, named Sukh, very kindly brought us a small bowl of Bhaji when we explained the problem to her.
The plain yogurt (dahi) was too sour. The onion slices should have had some seasoning or lemon juice on them, but that was missing.
Overall it was a disappointing experience except for Sukh who is a very friendly, helpful and service-oriented person.

I’ll be very honest with my review I had an aalo paratha which was fabulous,service is nice too but I asked for pickled onions with it. I was given about four petals of onion and I was charged over $2 for that. I don’t mind paying but that’s a rip off.
At the end I bought some milk cake to take with me, I don’t eat sweets but I took it for my wife and tried on my way back and it was rancid already. Which actually whicha big No-No for me.

The vegetarian eatery we recently ventured into surpassed all our anticipations. Our taste buds were treated to an array of delightful dishes, ranging from aloo paratha to mooli paratha to samosas all of which were truly outstanding. Despite the outstanding food quality and inviting ambiance, the restaurant curiously lacked the bustling crowds one might expect. Nonetheless, we were thoroughly impressed by the warm atmosphere and impeccable service. I wholeheartedly grant it a five-star rating.

Nov 2025: first time visiting this restaurant ever. Was greeted and served by Aman who was very friendly and courteous throughout her time serving me. The food was amazing which I was told was cooked by Vickey. Price was fine and I would definitely return to this place.
