When someone forgot to set out the frozen chicken thighs to thaw we decided to try A1 Pizza tonight — and I’m so glad we did!
The staff was incredibly kind, our order was ready for pickup in just 10 minutes, and everything was absolutely DELICIOUS. Truly some of the best pizza around — it beats out everyone else in the area!
We ordered their family meal deal (two large specialty pizzas, 10 wings, cheesy bread, and two large drinks) for $45, which was such a great value for our family.
We will DEFINITELY be using them again!

Nice place, very clean. The pizza was really good. I got a specialty pizza and the split it with half Hawaiian, half veggie. Both were really good, but I think the veggie won the comettition. I’m looking forward to trying other things on their menu. They’ve got quite a few things to try. Wings, baked potatoes, nachos, Philly fries and more.

This is our second time trying A-1. The pizza is fresh, flavorful, and quality for the money is top notch. We got the pepperoni pizza and a large was only $9.99. Much higher quality pizza than the other chains in the area. We will definitely be back!

Best Pizza in Oakland hands down!!! Hear me and hear me well, this pizza is better than EVERY pizza establishment out here. I can’t believe we’ve waited so long to try them just to learn it’s this delicious. We will be absolutely ordering our pizza from A1 from here on out!

We ordered a Buffalo Chicken Sub & a Philly Cheesesteak Pizza. Sub was super tasty, bread was exceptionally good. Fries were crispy and fresh. Ate every bite of the Philly pizza!! Then ended the meal with the chocolate cheesecake. We will definitely be coming back!

Tried them for the 1st time. Placed order for delivery which was quick and still somewhat warm. However the pizza looked great but the taste wasn’t there. We could only taste the cheese no sauce or anything else. The wings were not good at all. We also ordered dessert and the cake slices are extremely thin for the big price. Maybe it was just an off day for them. Will not be going back any time in the near or not so near future.

Upon arrival at the “New” Pizza joint in town, my wife and I were greeted by a happy and energetic staff. We purchased the “Family deal 2” . We had a Supreme pizza, cheese bread, and bone in wings. We sat in to eat and we found everything tastes wonderful! Thanks for a great experience and great food A1 Pizza!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Between not receiving the family size fry we ordered to our wings being thrown in a bag with a bunch of desserts so that the sauce went everywhere and made the desserts warm as hell. Then the pizza literally tasted like something you get from the frozen section of Kroger. Tried them for the first time tonight and will never do it again. I don’t know how they got a 4.9 rating cause the food and whole experience sucked!
