Place is clean from what I can see. Food was hot and fresh! They even remembered the extra lemon pepper. No complaints this way! Oh and the fruit punch koolaid is GREAT! Everybody doesn’t have good koolaid.

I’m taking down my 5 star review to 3 stars for the food alone.
My last customer service was awful.
My online order was not prepared at the time of scheduled pick up.
I was accused of placing my online order somewhere else until
THEY found the order.
I was offered a ‘can of pop’ for their mistake.
I don’t trust their online ordering.
The rude and derrogatory tone I received makes me pause on returning to their store.
I haven’t been back since.
The food is still tasty.

Food is usually fresh and tasty. Whenever I want fried fish, I go to A1 because this is one of the rare places in the city where fish and shellfish seem to be fried separately. I am allergic shellfish and have never had cross contamination or an allergic reaction.

Just shared a meal of chicken wings and tenders with my roommates and hands down, not since I lived in Chicago have I had such good fried food since moving back 4 years ago. Lemon pepper seasoning is perfect, the food is not greasy at all.
Good crunch, but the batter doesn’t take up the majority of each bite. Hot, fresh and delicious. It is a walk in, so no tables, but well worth it.
The gentleman at the cashier was friendly, helpful, and kind. I asked for his recommendation and was not dissappointed. Prices were excellent for the quality of the food.
Will definitely be coming by again!
