The actual food was great and came out fast. We ordered dessert to go, they only had 2 flavors of the cake pops on their menu, so we added a cheesecake with it. We waited about 30 minutes for a tiny cheesecake with the smallest scoop of ice cream I’ve ever seen. Got home, the cheesecake was inedible. It was sour and had a crusty film on top, like it had sat under the heat lamp, for 30 minutes…

Whenever me and my mom get Thai Cafe takeout, Our car always smells so good. Food is always fresh and has a big portion that Asian aunties give at potlucks. The most authentic Thai restaurant in the Kalamazoo county. The peanut curry noodle is my top choice. Was excited to try the Tom Yum Soup. Ordered medium plus because I like spicy food but I was coughing while eating the soup. Next time I need to get mild. Overall really good food and service.

Cute Thai restaurant with table service. I lived in Bangkok for 13 years and the food here isn’t the same taste as it is there, but it was still good. We took home Mango and Sticky Rice that was made fresh when we ordered it. We ate it later at home (pit in microwave for 30 seconds as it’s best warm) and that was excellent!

Really good Thai food. Papaya salad and masuman curry are my favorites. Also highly recommend their Bangkok fried rice. Anything above medium is very spicy so be cautious, especially with soups. I enjoy masuman curry at medium+ but the tom yum soup at medium+ was too spicy for me, probably because there’s no noodles or rice to dilute the spice level .

One of my new favorites! It’s nice and quiet and the servers are very friendly and attentive. The food comes out quickly and is always very hot and fresh. Highly recommend the lunch specials and boba as both have good prices.

Food was not the best tasting and very oily as well. There was a up charge for making anything “vegan” which is essentially removing the fish oil. Most of the items have fish oil in them by default so not very vegetarian friendly either.

Food was ok, some meals better than others, the curries were much better than noodles and fried rice. The colours were very odd looking, as you can see. Nothing special about the service either, the waitress did the bare minimum. Overall, would only recommend the curries! And beware Medium + is decent spicy! (Next time I would go lower, and I quite like spice)

If you’re craving authentic Thai cuisine, this is the spot to visit. This family-owned restaurant, which I’ve been frequenting since 2003, is undeniably the best Thai food in town. Even though I’ve moved to California, I always make it a point to stop by A Thai Cafe in Portage, Kalamazoo, whenever I visit my college student at UM.
Vienna and her husband are dedicated to ensuring that every customer leaves completely satisfied with their meal. I particularly enjoy her Papaya salad, Massaman curry, Red curry, and the Tom Kha (coconut soup). The restaurant is clean and inviting, and the staff is polite and friendly.
I absolutely love this place!

pad thai was really dry. crab rangoons had nice flavor but lacked filling and tasted old. this was my first time trying this place and sad to say i probably won’t be back. however the place had quite a few tables inside so maybe it’s better to dine in. i did take out.

I specifically asked for an authentic Thai Garlic entree. I got not even close to what I asked for. Very dissatisfied and will recommend not going. The photo with the white chicken and carrots is what I got. Doesn’t fast at all like garlic and vegetables are plain. No taste to it. The second photo is what I’ve previously ordered at a Thai restaurant. Will not be going again!!!!!
