This place rocks. It’s a great small town deli with extremely friendly and personable employees. The menu is creative, affordable, and diverse. Today we got the Slickster and the Yo Vinnie and both were awesome. If you’re anywhere in the area I really recommend trying a taste of reality.

Showed up at 4:55 pm. The light up “Open” sign was still turned on. Lights were on, and I didn’t realize they were closing in about 5 minutes. I was there 2 other individuals. I was starving and lightheaded as I had not had an opportunity to eat earlier in the day and I really wanted a deli sandwich. Unfortunately though I was only ordering a cold cut sandwich I was informed that they wouldn’t t make me a sandwich only after I had requested it. I could understand if I was asking them to cook some sort of hot meal, however I was at an “open” deli and they refused to serve me because it was close to closing time. They must be doing so well that they can turn away sales. They obviously did not want to help me or have my sale, the person was obviously capable of making the requested turkey sandwich, but had no desire to because it was close to, but not actually closing time. I obviously would strongly recommend no one use this place. They don’t care about customers. Not sure why they even have a closing time if they aren’t going to abide by it.

Had them cater a party this weekend for us and got 5 trays and 3ft sub. The ordering process and delivery was seamless and the food was amazing. The eggplant rollitini was a huge hit!

Ordered Taylor ham scrambled egg and cheese with extra taylor ham on 3 separate occasions. Each time, the scrambled egg is ignored and they do a fried egg and there is never extra Taylor ham. Husband ordered an omelette that looked like a kid could’ve made better. Only go here out of pure convenience that it is walking distance. Kinnelon bagel is far superior and now will go the extra couple minute drive for better food and better service

Working at a house in the area and this place was 8 minutes from the jobsite. It’s a bit expensive but saves you from running down the mountain so you’re paying for convenience. Tried the taylor ham, egg and cheese. It was prepared well and the roll was super soft. Was it New Jerseys best? Definitely not, but overall it was decent. Co-worker got a sandwich off the board, believe it was the Susie. Once again, not blowing your socks off, but still decent. Definitely at the top end of deli pricing but an ok spot to grab a bite. Service was slow but we didn’t call in and it seemed like they were a bit busy. Staff was polite.

The perfect oasis in the middle of my bike ride. Really friendly service and cold water at too low of a price! The convenient location made my day. Some items here may cost more than the supermarket but the convenience is worth it.

My football team got food catered from the deli and the food was delicious. The pasta dish we got was completely gone by the end of the dinner and the chicken tenders we got were absolutely amazing. This place makes regular food taste awesome. Job well done.

Very good place to grab breakfast or lunch. I came across this place many years ago when doing service calls in the area. New owner is very attentive and his staff is friendly and fast at taking your order. The quality of the food is the same as it has been in the past
