Mole Mole Mole

I tried the enchiladas mole… Bruh
Tasted amazing. The mole was sweet and had a heat to it.
You can choose the meat, but I had to go with chicken.
The shredded chicken was so juicy and thick.
I asked for some lettuce in top because I need some kind on vegetable on my meal and they had no problem accommodating me.

The rice was plump and the beans were flavorful.

I can’t wait to go back!

This new cart in the Oak Tree Station park serves Mexican food: Tacos, enchiladas, burritos, etc. I tried the steak fajita burrito without rice. The burrito is $12.75 but it costs $3 for the steak. $15.75 is pretty pricey but they do include a side of beans. The burrito is a decent size Even without the rice. The steak didn’t have much flavor. My guess is they are keeping it mild to please the lowest common denominator. The good thing though is they have a nice hot sauce. I was given a pager to let me know when my order was ready. When I was summoned, I saw the closed sign at the order window. But it was only 3:00. I asked why he was closing early, he said they ran out of food. $15.75 is the most expensive burrito I’ve had from a food truck. I can do better for less with trucks like Don Angel ($9.50), Taqueria Sr. Lopez ($11) or even El Viejón ($14). Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars. ✌

Stopped in for dinner and ordered a taco combo plate. Tacos were very bland. Rice was also super bland. The chicken did not taste like it was marinated or seasoned at all. Service was okay. Nice worker but very disappointed in the food. Most likely won’t return, as I’ve had much better tacos elsewhere.

The Staff here were super friendly and helpful. I ordered their Carnitas tacos, they were one of the best tacos I’ve had. Especially topped them off with their amazing salsa verde. Everything tasted so fresh and was seasoned to perfection. I’d definitely stop by again next time I’m in town.

I spent about $40 on a kids burrito, a deluxe burrito, and three tacos with rice and beans. Unfortunately, they were out of rice—which was included with both the burrito and taco meals—but the price wasn’t reduced or adjusted to reflect that missing item. I also ordered two waters (which are usually pricey at food trucks), but didn’t receive them until I went back and reminded them. It also took a while for the buzzer to go off. Wait time was long.

The food itself was decent, but between the missing items and lack of proactive service, it didn’t feel like a great value for the price. Hopefully they improve communication and consistency going forward.

Weakest food truck burrito I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, it was probably the most expensive too. Do yourself a favor and pick one of the other options at Oak Tree Station.

Food was pretty mediocre. Menu prices don’t match what you receive (STEAK nacho fries were advertised at $13.95, but got upcharged $3 for steak, even though that was what they were supposed to come with. Also, they actually made them into nachos with chips and the chips were stale. And, the amount of steak was minuscule). Chile relleno burrito was rather underwhelming. Really disappointing, I was hoping for a really good Mexican food cart at Oak Station. I hope they can improve their offerings and start being more honest with their menu prices.

I love the breakfast burrito :). I get it every week. The cook/chef is super friendly, very down to earth with a good heart. Highly recommend it .
