Visited A Taste of India recently. The customer service was very good — the staff was friendly and attentive, and we were even treated to some complimentary items, which was a nice touch. However, the food overall was quite salty for our taste. The dining space was also on the smaller side, which made it feel a bit cramped. With some improvement on seasoning and space, it could be a much better experience.

I recently visited this restaurant and was genuinely impressed! The food had an authentic Indian taste that was absolutely amazing. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared, capturing the true essence of Indian cuisine. I also appreciated that I didn’t have to wait long for my order – the service was prompt and efficient. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. They even offered some helpful tips about the city, which made my visit even more enjoyable. Me and my boyfriend got to only stick around briefly since we were in there due to waiting for our car to get towed and with short time, however they were just as welcoming and kind and made the food fast for us to take with us once the towing truck came. Their garlic naan is AMAZING and i will definitely come back to try more (:

This is a small but good place to get Indian food. I tried the Paneer Tikka Masala and the Veg Korma. The Paneer Tikka Masala was good but the Veg Korma was a bit too dry.The tea, however, was excellent.

Been coming here for years every time I visit back here but this visit was a absolutely let down. The service horrible take forever for a our order to be taken the food was not the same and the service spoke no English kept forgetting stuff and bringing us the wrong food just so disappointing. You guys need to hire more help so you can better take care of your customers. Will probably not be back to this establishment thanks for nothing.

I travelled in India for work and ate everything that was offered to me. Often, the food brought me to tears being so different from my lifetime of bland food experiences. I had chicken tikka kebabs, samosas, and biriyani yesterday from A Taste of India in Mystic and was taken back to my travels. They are the real deal and every bite was excellent.

One of two of the better Indian restaurants in the area (other in New London). App., main dish came with rice and naan, and an extra bread was ordered. Meal came out flavorful, textured, and portioned perfectly for two or leftovers. It’s worth the visit and for <$35 with tip.

We experience a real taste in dal makhani, chicken madras and paneer makhani. I loved all the dishes. Owner being super busy with online orders still manage us for the dine in as we requested. Food was amazing, mouth watering. Keema naan blows my mind. I enjoyed the food and Gupshup(small talk) with owner during the visit. Must visit. Mango lassi was perfectly blend. Love it. Must visit if you are in Mystic connecticut.
