Small community restaurant with good food. All I’ve ever had was oxtails, rice and cabbage and it was delicious each time. Go early so you can choose from a variety of dishes. Update: oxtail price increased $5 within 12 days. Ask the prices before you order.

Did a grubhub order for lunch. Restaurant didn’t follow request of more cabbage than rice. I am kinda glad they didn’t due to the cabbage being very bland. The rice has a really good coconut flavor. Oxtails 7.5/10 could have used more flavor. Portion is a good size for medium.

Be careful visiting this restaurant make sure you specifically tell the guy what you want because they will screw up your order. Don’t know if it’s a language barrier but I know exactly what my wife ordered. my wife spent $67 there and they screwed up her order she called them back and the guy said that they didn’t have what she ordered. And she said I specifically told you what I wanted and if you didn’t have you should have just said so. But no I think their goal was just to get the money. Be careful visiting this place I will not visit it anymore there are many other great Jamaican restaurants in the city of Newburgh. This is so not one of them

Love this place. Have been coming here for years. It’s hard to find places that can cook ox tail properly. Their pepper steak is really good to. Nice size portions and the place is kept clean.
