Excellent food–some of the best birria tacos I have ever had in my life! We came here as a family, so we tried several things (un orden vampiro–open face tacos grilled with the cheese face down, un orden mulita–quesadilla-like tacos, plus a couple of burritos, and the regular birria) and it was literally all GREAT! Juicy, filling, well-seasoned and made even better by the savory consomé. We ate so much here for lunch we skipped dinner later in the day!
The restaurant is small, but has lots of seating, which was a plus (most of the other little local spots don’t have seating or very little). The owner/cook was super friendly and service was quick. I think he does speak some English, but it probably wouldn’t hurt to know a bit of Spanish before you come, since the menu is in Spanish, too.
Excellent spot to eat if you are checking out the missions, or well worth the drive from El Paso’s downtown if you just want great tacos.

Driving down the street and we saw this little hole in the wall on the way to my parents in Socorro. We ordered the taquiza for 1 person (bistek and alambre), torta de barbacoa, and quesadillas con birria. The flavors are amazing! The barbacoa is so soft and moist but not excessively greasy. The meat from the bistek and the alambre was very tender and the birria consume was delicious. The aguas were on point!!! My one and literally only complaint is the red salsa. Way to chunky for our taste. It had good flavor but it has all the seeds and the skin from the Chile and I don’t like that. Will definitely be coming back. 10/10 would really recommend.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The people are amazing and super sweet, and the food was delicious! My best friend got the ramen and i got the quesobirria tacos they were both so good! Definitely coming back to try the birra pizza

I just left this place and all i have to say is OMG!!! The food was super delicious . We got quesabirrias, a bistec comal and birria tacos . I will definitely be coming here . Im amazed this restaurant wasnt full since the food is really delicious. Staff is friendly 🙂

What an amazing restaurant! They serve some of the most traditional Mexican ears around have the best salsa I’ve ever tasted at a restaurant. I am in Google’s top ten percent of reviewers worldwide and I review fairly. This place is exceptional. The birria pizza is incredible. Everything is served in traditional plates and at some of the most affordable proving I’ve seen. Try it, trying me on this.

It’s okay. The birria is nothing special. Takes care of the craving but it’s missing some flavor. The chilaquiles are spicy but weirdly bland and burnt. My husband has tried the barbacoa and said it’s really good. I’d come back just because its a minute from my house but that’s about it.

This place is delicious but a little pricey! I am not a fan of meat, nor much grease. This a delicious cheat meal. One meal can feed up two; it’d be nice if the meal would include an actual salad or side not just shredded bits of lettuce. The salsa has great spicy flavor and the drinks are fresh and delish. Cozy homey feel, too. Just wish they’d take card transactions for tip, rarely keep cash.
