Stopped by while visiting Raleigh. A lovely restaurant with a lovely vibe and multiple payment options. Vegan and vegetarian options available. I had the black bean melt, which was delicious. I was disappointed that the side of fruit was just a whole orange cut in half, but it was still tastey.

Wonderful experience. The food was great. The scrambled eggs were completely cooked, not wet or over cooked. The waffles were amazing. Fluffy and buttery. Bacon was standard issue but good. All for $10, deal. My lovely Brazilian wife said the coffee was the best so far in US. Service is top notch. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Seating is inside on 1st and 2nd floor plus outside.

Stopped in this cute little place for breakfast as we rolled through Raleigh NC. Near the Capital building. This cool spot had an awesome biscuit sandwich. We were asked if we thought the price was fair, wanted to pay less, or if we wanted to volunteer an hour of work to pay for our meal. We thought the price was fair and had our breakfast Biscuits. A mound of homemade spicy cheddar biscuit with a thick hand pressed sausage patty and eggs. This was a local contributor to the community. Help locals in need while serving great food.

Fabulous food with an exceptional mission! We had a delicious hummus and veggies sandwich and a homemade chicken salad sandwich, piled high! A must see while in downtown Raleigh!

First time to this restaurant. What a special place, with so much meaning! Everyone is welcome here which brings dignity to the less fortunate. Was able to meet the owner who gave her story of the journey to bring this nonprofit to fruition. Thank you for all you do to make our community a better place to enjoy! Will definitely return to eat as well as volunteer!

The idea to pay it forward is great. Everyone was happy and had a smile on their face. The coffee was delicious. They have a concept that you can less or more or pay it forward. True love shines there.

Amazing place and mission!!! I recently had the pleasure of going to “A Place at the Table” for brunch, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. Not only does this restaurant serve delicious food, but it also has a remarkable mission to support the community members who are facing financial challenges. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere.

Overall amazing atmosphere, what people aren’t highlighting enough is that you can buy a card for $10 to hang onto. When you see someone in need you give that to them and they get a meal. Fool was very filling and everyone was extremely nice. Will be back again to volunteer my time!

Awesome place. Awesome mission. I observed the way the staff interacted with the volunteers. Beautiful. Kind. Compassionate. Nurse was also there giving advice. We need more of these. Community outreach is so important. Thank you. Food was pretty good too!
