At one time this restaurant stood out from other locations. So much so that I patronized them regularly, took friends there, and suggested the location to many people .The food was excellent when they first opened but now they’re as bad as the 75th street location.
The corned beef has become consistently full of fat. Also, they have reduced the amount of meat they put on sandwiches. The big beef identical to what the original beef was.
It’s unfortunate that our few businesses won’t keep it together.

I am very disappointed. I ordered the Jr. Corned Beef Combo. It was the worst nothing but fat all thru the beef. I could barely chew it. I threw the majority of the sandwich away I could not stomach the fat or toughness of the beef anymore. It was not lean at all 3/4 fat. The customer focused signs you have posted all over your store in Hazel Crest, IL. is inconsequential if you don’t do anything to make me a satisfied customer.

The corn beef sandwiches are NOT the same. They’re dry, you’re pulling fat out of your mouth. They used to have sandwiches so big you couldn’t open your mouth wide enough to take a bite. The meat was tender. now you pay more and get less..I’ve eaten here for years and it’s just not the same..my fries were cold. For 2 original big beef combos it was $43..smh…never again I’ll be going to Manny’s

So.. I am familiar with AP Deli from previous locations that were on the Southside of Chicago, but I had never visited this particular location.. AND I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN EVER!
I entered the establishment and I was met by an order taker that didn’t appear to have patience with me asking about the menu or the portion sizes of the food. I literally had to explain that I had not been at this AP DELI location and even after that I was still met with skepticism about asking the menu. Then I was informed about the price which was horrible and overpriced based on the convenience of how I wanted to pay. AP DELI CHARGES A CONVENIENCE FEE FOR CARD PURCHASES IF YOU DON’T PAY IN CASH!
I ended up paying almost $20 for a corned beef (take out) with pickle+sport peppers on the side.

Was definitely what i was looking for read the reviews and got a bit scared! But im glad i took the time to check it out for MYSELF corn beef ill give it a 8/10 only bc i asked for two pickles and never hot them (always was charged for it) and the polish 10/10 can never go wrong with a polish- the fries were still fresh even after a 15 min drive and the food was hot! Cool little 5-10 min wait but definitely worth every min

I ordered 2 Big Cornbeefs, 1 Rueben, the cornbeef is superb but the Ruben was disappointing & it only has a few strands of sauerkraut. If I spend $57 I would appreciate it if my order was correct & the sauerkraut makes the Rueben.

The beef is so salty! I had to keep drinking water after every bite just to eat it. I paid for grilled onions and they only put one onion slice on my big beef. I don’t think I’ll be coming back. My tastebuds are suffering.

This location is better than any other location. That i ever been to. And trust me I have been to every location even the one on the west side before they closed down. And it’s definitely better than the original one on 108th and Michigan.
