This place is absolutely STUNNING! The atmosphere was great, music wasn’t too loud either. I got the Confit pork shank & my boyfriend got the steak frites w/ New York steak. Both were very delicious, cooked to perfection. We also split the ratatouille, it was full of flavor. Drinks were awesome too, a little on the pricey side though, about $21 a drink.

Absolute disaster. If you want to pay three times more than what the drinks and the food are worth then yes go here. For me, the answer is no. This is the most hyped place in North Park in the last 10 years and they just treat people like absolute crap. I know they’re going for the upper end of the K shaped curve, but ultimately North Park is lower middle class and always will be and this will not last.

What a stunning restaurant. The food and service were both incredible and the staff were nothing but polite and informative. The ravioli and Banana Mille Feuille were otherworldly. I will be back with a vengeance to wreak havoc on the rest of the menu.

Amazing new spot in the heart of North Park! I didn’t know we needed it, but turns out, we did. The space is stunning, with dripping plants, wide open windows, and lots of green. Delicious cocktails served in gorgeous glassware and fantastic food, from a knowledgeable team – what’s not to like? Get the beets and a cocktail with cognac. There’s also an impressive list of booze-free options. Santé!

Service, food, and ambience were off the hook and easily the best dining experience we’ve had in years!

We started with the bread and butter. It sounds simple, but it was anything but. The baguette was served warm with butter that tasted like it had been hand-churned—absolutely delicious.

The tuna crudo was creamy, smooth, and incredibly fresh. Honestly, it was some of the best “sushi-like” fish I’ve ever had.

I ordered the filet, and it was butter-smooth and completely melt-in-your-mouth. Every bite was sensational. He had the confit pork shank, which was beautifully presented. The moment the fork touched the meat, the bone slid right out and fell to the side of the plate. It was incredibly tender and perfectly paired with the rest of the dish.

We were celebrating his birthday, and the staff was so thoughtful. They surprised him with a special dessert to acknowledge the occasion, which was such a nice touch.

For dessert, we ordered the soufflé. It arrived warm with a hint of orange zest and was absolutely delicious.

The pickle martini was also a standout. It was served with a chilled second pour on the side, essentially giving you a second martini.

We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes.
Complements to the chef!
Thank you, A L’Ouest!

Went for my birthday dinner with my husband and our service was as amazing, shout out to Austin. As a native New Yorker my expectations are high, and the food exceeded my expectations! The food was exceptional, also loved the drinks! I’m still dreaming about the ravioli, fish, and potatoes. Love all the Trust restaurants and this is now our favorite.

Had a wonderful time enjoying a cider at their bar. This place is gorgeous and smells divine. The jasmine candles are intoxicating.

For some reason they make people stand to drink outside and I just don’t want to do that. Yeah I had a drink here and it was absolutely overpriced but you know you get what you get with these corporate entities. Real problem I had was I don’t really want to stand at a bar.. I’ve done belly up bars and those are usually déclassé. Ask yourself, are you going to make a trip to North Park so that you can stand outside at a bar? North Park is not a destination despite how much money they’re trying to make it be such.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time at À L’ouest last night! The ambiance is elegant yet energetic — each dish was rich with flavor and intentionality. The waiters were attentive, professional, and jovial. Lastly, the baguette dipped in the butter pesto sauce from the ravioli… pure bliss.
