I had the most delicious cheeseburger from here called The Madrid. It was so juicy and the ingredients were so fresh. I had the bacon and onion quiche which was so fluffy and the best. I’ll definitely come back and try more. The cashier was super nice and I met the owners who were very welcoming and polite.

Update: we have now visited MB like 10x & we still love coming to this bakery for breakfast & pastries! We just went this month (5/21-5/23) & took home with us about 20 pastries to share with our families! Everyone LOVED them! Recommended: croissant breakfast sandwiches, sticky bread, & cinnamon brioche (rolls)!
I’ve come to Morro Bay a few times now to visit from the Bay Area & found this place a couple of times ago.. it’s now our usual breakfast spot when we’re in town! We always get the breakfast croissants which are delicious! We also really like the quiche! And to wrap it up, we can’t leave without having one of their brioche or sticky breads! You won’t regret coming to this place. Staff is nice, service is quick, & prices are pretty good for the quality you are getting. Breakfast for 2 (sandwiches, drinks, 1 quiche & 1 bread to share) is about $25! Currently they are only doing takeout..

Definitely a great little place to stop in & get a pastry, sandwich or anything else that may sound good on their menu. Been stopping in for years, food is always good with friendly service.

Bought a cheeseburger because they’re less expensive than on the Embarcadero. Patty was high school cafeteria quality or worse. Tasted awful. My expectations for a cheeseburger at a bakery arent too high and the service and presentation were lovely but this patty is inedible. I’d go back and get a different sandwich. Great bread and fresh veggies, only upset about that hamburger. Its worse than if you simply didn’t sell hamburgers at all.

I love this place! They are very reasonably priced, the most affordable food in the area! I enjoy the hot sandwiches and the customization options available! Always a good spot for a morning coffee near the beach or a quick bite!

Love everything about this small Morro Bay gem. The peanutbutter cookie is so yummy, go early,they sell out. My go to lunch is a half but and French onion soup. The Danish are delicious, raspberry is my favorite.
