We’ve worked our way through the menu over several visits — burgers, chicken sandwich, steak, fries, side salads, etc. — and everything has been outstanding. Most recently, we tried their prime rib special and the prime rib stroganoff, and WOW. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, beautifully pink and tender. The stroganoff was rich and hearty, and topped with perfectly seasoned shaved beef. Both dishes were absolutely incredible!
On top of the amazing food and drinks, the staff is always warm and welcoming. This is the kind of place that keeps you coming back again and again. Next on the list to try their brunch!
You HAVE to try the bacon coated in pankcake batter and deep fried. It’s basically a meat filled funnel cake.
I got the Monte Cristo which was really good. I’d suggest getting the house made strawberry jam with it.
The drinks were perfect, and the food was absolutely wonderful. We’ll definitely be back !
I gave 2 stars only because of one employee trying to make it right.
I was excited to come try this place as someone with food allergies I was assured they could and would accommodate them easily with no issues when I called and when my boyfriend had called. So TWICE we had checked about being able to manage with my allergies.
We made a reservation at 6 pm and did not leave until after 730 and the place was not even half full. 10 minutes for a server to come “greet” us after I got up to ask for some help. (Mind you we saw this server with no sense of urgency wandering around and he saw us multiple times. A simple I’ll be right with you could have mad a big difference) He then started with “we’re out of ribeye but I can make whatever else” no hi how are you? nothing like this. We then waited 10 minutes for the alcohol that was ordered and we only received it because the bartender ran it to us. 37 minutes later our food comes out wrong. I had asked for Brussel sprouts and a piece of salmon. Before the food came out he came to ask about lemon and which I assumed was something they garnished the Brussels with. Nope! Dry terrible piece of salmon no lemon nothing on it and no veggies. When I kindly asked where they were I was told they could do no veggies without cross contamination opposite of what I was told when I called. The server was not helpful and very rude about it. I then asked for Ivy because I had talked to her about this when I called. Ivy did try to do right but by this point I have 0 trust in the kitchen either. We still paid for part of the crappy salmon when we really should have had our entire meals comped as my Bf food was sub par and cold at best.
Im pretty understating as someone who works in this industry to 20 years and rarely complain. I also know food allergies can be difficult but I was assured TWICE when we called there would be no issues. Sadly we won’t be back $62 to leave hungry feeling like I had no dinner and a bad vibe and experience. Thanks to Ivy for doing her best to go above and beyond to the best of her ability.
