A Huevo Que Sí in El Monte is such a great spot for breakfast and brunch. I’ve been here a few times now, including for special occasions, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious and the overall experience always feels special. The portions are big.

They have a really nice drink selection, from mimosas and micheladas to non-alcoholic options, so everyone can enjoy something. This time I ordered the chilaquile molcajete, and it was amazing. The carne asada was super tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and came out hot, and the molcajete presentation made it even better.

We also ordered some of their popular pancakes for the kids, and they loved them. They were fluffy, filling, and perfect for a family brunch. To top it off, we shared a mimosa tower and margaritas, which made the meal feel fun and celebratory.

Overall, this is a place I always recommend. It is family and kid friendly .The food is so good, the drinks are great, and it’s perfect for both casual visits and special occasions. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the El Monte area.

This place has great dishes and very delicious food, except for a couple of items, 1. the eggcellent burrito, it did not come with ham at all, they put sliced hotdogs. 2. The a huevo omelet did not have any chorizo. Also this is the first time I encounter a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. Do they offer a discount for paying cash? not at all. Other than that I would recommend this place with a warning of the extra charges.

This place is amazing! We came from San Diego to take my mom to brunch for her birthday. The atmosphere was great. Our servers Madelin and Adriana exceeded our expectations and took great care of us. Not to mention how good the food was. Everything had great flavor, our whole party was satisfied. I’d definitely recommend this location to anyone that wants good food with good service.

Ahuevo Birria Burrito? More like Ah-wow!
El Chingon delivered a knockout lineup that had me grinning from first bite to final sip. The 6 oz New York steak was juicy perfection—charred just right with melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. That birria burrito? A cheesy, saucy, slow-braised dream wrapped in a tortilla hug.

The horchata latte was a genius twist—creamy, cinnamon-kissed, and surprisingly refreshing. And the mimosa flight? A bubbly burst of citrusy joy that made brunch feel like a celebration.

✨ But what truly sealed the deal was the customer service. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—like being treated by friends who know how to host a feast.

Can’t wait to come back and keep the flavor party going.

I’m so confused by the negative reviews! This place was an absolute 10/10. We came here for my best friend’s bachelorette. Her mom passed away unexpectedly and it put a halt in her wedding plans. But we still wanted to do something to make her feel special. I made a reservation and came 30 min early with decorations to explain the situation. The staff was so accommodating and kind! They recommended the mimosa flights to put on the table for added decoration. And they even brought her a shot and played Single Ladies over the big speaker.

The food was also amazing! Very large portions and super tasty flavors. I got the Sunrise burrito and the bride got one of the omelettes. Another person in our party got the Fruit Pebbles pancakes which did not disappoint. I was actually surprised by the food because usually these cute brunch places care more about the aesthetics. But the food was just as good. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a chill but fun time.

I went to meet up with friends for a birthday reunion. Parking is very limited. You may need to find street parking. They do not provide free water. They push the sale of bottled water. They do not provide small plates if you want to share, as we all ordered our own breakfast plates and wanted to try the quesa Birrria as an appetizer. The chillaquilles were dry looking. I ordered the French toast, that’s all it is no sides. Friends ordered coffee, and then the waitress asked if they would like Cafe de Olla. Turns out that’s 2.00 extra, and the waitress failed to mention that. I ordered strawberry lemonade. I got a glass of pink sparkling water. Overpriced and staff pushed more expensive items. The food looks great, but some lack taste/flavor..

The decor at Ahuevo Que Sí is bright and welcoming, giving the place a fun vibe. I tried the Birria tacos and a latte, and both were really tasty. The side of potatoes, though, wasn’t great—kind of bland and didn’t go well with the rest of the meal. The pancakes were really good, though a little too sweet for me, but still delicious.
