If you are thinking about eating here, do it. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and quick. The food is so delicious!

They have a few salt and pepper items on the menu, but we asked if they could do salt and pepper chicken, they were very kind and made it for us. It was better than we could have hoped and one of the best salt and pepper dishes we’ve had!

The rice was also delicious and so flavorful, you could taste the depth of ingredients used and the textures were perfect!

The atmosphere and interior design is so well done, it is very beautiful inside and spacious! They have lots of large tables for large groups of people. They don’t have a Michelin rating, but we feel they should ✨

They’re back, and they’re better than ever! If you love Chuan Fu, you’ll love this place too. They’re by the same owners, but they bring a different experience to the table with its own set of dishes on their menu. The biggest difference being that this location offers a wide variety of dimsum options made fresh and in-house by their own chef. Make sure to ask for that dimsum menu! My favorite dimsum items are the pan-fried radish cakes, fried eggplant and shrimp, and steamed egg custard bun (these are black-colored lava buns that have a sweet and salty filling). When it comes to main dishes, I highly recommend their beef chow fun, stir-fried green beans, sesame chicken, and seafood tofu claypot.

In terms of ambiance and overall impression, the ambiance here is sleek and modern. The interior is spacious and clean. And staff are friendly and pleasant. Service is fast without sacrificing the quality and presentation of the food. We have brought a gathering of 20 guests once, and it didn’t take long for food to arrive on our table. All of the guests were very happy that night and left with good things to say towards the food and restaurant. They have a parking lot behind the building, but street parking is also available if the parking lot is full.

Oh, let me tell you how much I adore A Gourmet Chinese cuisine! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the most wonderful and friendly staff. The owner and manager go above and beyond to cater to any dietary needs, making the dining experience truly exceptional. My husband and I can’t get enough of their irresistible Lazi Tofu and Lazi Eggplant – they’re simply addictive! We have family members who literally fly in just to indulge in these amazing dishes. And let’s not forget about their delicious tofu vegetable hot pot, a must-try for sure. The restaurant’s modern decor and spacious layout with plenty of tables make it perfect for all types of gatherings, especially family get-togethers. Trust me, if you haven’t already, you must come and support this gem – you won’t be disappointed!

We came here for lunch to do Dim sum. Finally we were able to try this place out after the fully remodeled, rebranding, and new menu. I loved the old Chuan Lu garden for the many variety of dumplings and some of the great Cantonese dishes they had. So I was super excited to see how Joyce and her team had developed with this new menu.

Food: they have a big menu with different style dishes from Cantonese to Szechuan dishes. So today, we only focused on dim sum. Great quality food as I can tell all of it is homemade especially the soup dumplings, rice paste, siu mai, chicken feet, spare ribs, pan fried buns, big shrimp Dumplings, and their delicious egg yolk bun. We ordered their wonton soup and many other dim sum dishes. For à la carte, they came out pretty quick especially when they were busy. Their dim sum menu selections are limited unlike Ten ten. For their food quality I will give it – 5/5

As far pricing: they are in the higher end for dim sum just like YH. But not sure they are pricing themselves out in that neighborhood because there are other dim sum places much cheaper but not as good.
I was disappointed that they did not bring back all the different dumplings variety
I think the menu definitely could use some improving to be more concise. For Pricing is 3.5/ 5 haha

Atmosphere: Great job with the decoration, entrance wall water fall and atmosphere. They just need to add the background music to bring the vibe and ambience. Love the new furnitures and table. Hope they maintain it good!! 5/5

Service: despite being busy, they were very attentive. Love that they kept on checking on us. They refilled our tea without us asking. They clear all the dishes without us asking and kept the table clean. So the restaurant has done a great job training their staff. That is rare in a good Chinese restaurant haha. 5/5

For sure I am coming back to try the other menu items for dinner. I want this restaurant to keep on improving and to do well!

We have been long time fans of Chuan Lu Garden, so we were so excited it finally opened back up!! The staff were very friendly and attentive, though I will note that for most of our dining experience we were the only people there. The renovations look great – more modern and sleek. It did feel like a large conference center though. There is a dim sum menu that we had to ask for separately. We got the house fried rice, dry fried green beans, pan fried pork buns, soup dumplings, and the beef chow fun. Surprisingly, the beef chow fun had more beef than noodles. All the food was great, though just a half step below from before the renovations. The prices have gone up a bit, but that’s not a surprise. It’s definitely worth a visit!

We used to come here before the renovation and now it’s even better that before. The food is great, the dim sums without pork are our favorites. The desserts are sweet which is great. The atmosphere is wonderful.

First time trying this place with my family. It’s very spacious on the inside and pretty. The service was wonderful and our server was super sweet. However, the food was just okay, we ordered the spicy free range chicken which was okay, it was just a cold boiled chicken and the sauce was oily but the cucumbers in it were good. Soup dumplings wasn’t really that good or the shrimp shumai. I did really enjoy the beef chow fun though. Portions are very small here so I would say that a family of 3 would be good but if you bring more people definitely order a lot more food.

This is where Chuan La Gardens was, newly remodeled and called A Gourmet, many of same menu items. Food was great, think the spice level got toned down a little, I did not mind the heat. Recommend going with a group of people and ordering a bunch of dishes and sharing, every thing we ordered was good. Service was exceptionally good. Bit pricey since we ordered lot of food. Good job on the remodel, looks nice.

This spot is another solid option in Orlando if you’re craving Cantonese food, with the bonus of having a few Sichuan dishes mixed into the menu.

The menu itself is pretty extensive, so there’s definitely no shortage of choices whether you’re in the mood for something comforting and traditional or want to branch out a little. They also offer dim sum, which is always a nice touch since not every Chinese restaurant in the area does that outside of weekend brunch hours.

We decided to go for dinner, and out of everything we tried, the Brisket in Clay Pot stood out as my favorite—it had that rich, slow-cooked flavor and came out piping hot, exactly how a clay pot dish should.

Overall, everything we ordered was solid and enjoyable. It may not be the absolute best Cantonese food I’ve had, but it was definitely good, and it adds to the variety and depth of Orlando’s growing food scene.

Server did an amazing job. We really enjoyed it a lot. She explained culture and authentic story of each dish making it quite an experience. We came on a Thursday lunch they were not too busy. But weekend could be crowd. Everything was great especially swan crisp so delicate. Highly recommended! Beautiful large party tables.
