Very homey place, their onion rings are cooked to crispy perfection. I had the Roselle Cheeseburger; the patty was thin but dense, leaving room for the rest of the ingredients. It was delicious, not too greasy. Friendly service. Might make a habit of visiting this place for lunch more often.

I got the Florentine omelette, grits and beef sausage. The lady in the front was super welcoming and nice. She waited patiently while I decided on what I wanted to eat. The grits were a little bland but the omelette was pretty good!

I don’t think it’s ok to open/reopen without an updated menu with valid prices. Or at least telling the customer the total over the phone. As a first time customer, it’s jarring to see one price on the Only menu available online and be told another price in person. Food was also pretty bland and not at all a good value.

First time trying them out and I told the lady on phone that& she failed to tell me they take cash only or cash app and venmo smh ! Could have told me that so I didn’t have to pay extra fees for cash back next door . Food was ok , pancakes were over cooked . Taylor ham and eggs was good but bread very dry . I don’t think I’ll be coming back

A great hometown luncheonette that is family operated and looks like it is right out of a 1940’s film set without trying to be cute. I go for the flattop grilled chili dogs and a Stewart’s orange-cream soda. No need to put on your glasses to read the menu since it is above the counter in billboard size. Clean shop with counter stools and wood booth tables. Great for breakfast or lunch.

I was charged $12.50 for this !!!!! I normally wouldn’t have any complaints because the food is good but the wife was very rude today I actually lost my appetite ! she messed up on the price, after charging me and giving me my change she noticed an error. She kindly came back to me and instead of her saying she made a discrepancy she removed the money out my hands. Very unprofessional
