My wife and I were thrilled to see this place open up within walking distance! I was there for the official grand opening, so I had a chance to sample the rice pudding, empanadas and the Cuban sandwich. All outstanding! Being Cuban, I’ve been waiting for a place like this to open near me. I like it’s casual atmosphere and décor. The people are friendly, the music is hot and the food is amazing. I’ve been more than a few times already. The Cuban sandwich is on point! The croquettas preparada is amazing also. My husband loves the lechon sandwich. My new favorite is the Cozy Bowl. You can pick your protein, rice, beans and style of bananas. They throw in a little side salad too. I chose picadillo, white rice black beans and tostones. Next time I’ll try maduros. Perfect! I haven’t tried everything yet, but I will! It just hits the spot when looking for home style Cuban cooking. They have a few kinks to work out, but I’m sure they’ll work it out. A great atmosphere and good food! The service felt like they were understaffed, as many tables had to ask for more waters and it took awhile for the check. They were kind and helpful though! Just a few kinks to work out since they’re new. The food was good, especially the sweet plantains and churros. It’s BYOB, but they have cuban espresso and other drinks as well

Ordered the beef and chicken empanadas, tostones, cuban sandwich and chicken fingers for my kid. Beef empanadas very good, chicken was bland. Tostones were too expensive for what we got, not much flavor. Cuban sandwich was not good, expected much more. Lacked flavor all you can taste out of it was swiss cheese and a pickle.

I’ve been to the Cozy Corner twice since it’s opening just a few weeks ago. Llllloooove the “bowl” of Black rice and beans with chopped tomatoes and chopped GREEN lettuce, not the hard white part that most restaurants serve, and LOTS of small shrimp! Choices are chicken and beef besides shrimp. Very little spice not salty! and generous serving. Owner greets everyone and the servers are very kind. Very interesting Decor! Love the atmosphere!
