They have daily food specials and lunch/dinner specials on the chalkboard that change monthly. I had the special fish tacos with a side salad. They were not only huge, but they were delicious. The “side” salad was so generous and fresh. The prices were quite reasonable.
There are a couple events a week that may make the atmosphere more lively and loud. Trivia and an occasional band. They also have a back dog friendly heated patio for the fur babies in your family.
Since our initial experience, we didn’t go to A beer at a time for 6 months. Til one day, we stepped in to see if it had changed. Fortunately we haven’t seen that particular bartender since, everything changed into a good vibe. We have become regular customers for enjoyable drinking, eating and dancing at A beer at a time.
Original review:
A beer at a time has a great selection of beers and good food. We would love to give 5 stars if the bartender who served us twice in a row that could be friendly, welcoming and patient with new customers.
The Pandemic has been difficult to the restaurants/ pubs industry in the past two years, and we are more appreciative of their hard work and try to support the local business to stay open.
Generally speaking, the restaurants/ bars we visit, people are friendly and helpful.
We would go back again, like I said they do have excellent beers, so can’t help ourselves.
Just Wondering which day is his day off ?
My kids like the Mac n cheese, mini corn dogs, burger, and chicken nachos.
They keep a good been menu on tap.
Chill vibe and low key atmosphere.
Jess was our bartender – we loved her!
It was hard to choose a beer from the 51 tap handles. The tap list behind the bar was unique – and needs a library ladder to make changes.
When I ordered was asked if I wanted a pint or a mug. Turns out a 20oz mug is $7 50 – a fifty cent increase over the pint cost.
Loved the beers we had. The margaritas were tasty as well. Didn’t have any food this time – but we’ll be bsck. Oh – the bathroom was spotless.
Pizza was great, staff were all very friendly and they had a great Foo Fighters / Nirvana cover band! Definitely recommend, just wish they did table service.
