We hosted our Wednesday community munch for the “Brews and Bruise” group at A Bar Named Sue this week on February 25th, 2026, and overall we had a really good experience!
The space had a fun, relaxed vibe with cool stickers everywhere and plenty of seating areas that worked well for conversation and small group connection. The atmosphere made it easy for people to socialize and enjoy the evening together.
The staff was friendly and accommodating to our group, and we appreciated how smoothly the night went.
I will note that parking was definitely the biggest challenge for our group, which may make future visits difficult for larger meetups, but we’re glad we had the chance to try the space and spend an enjoyable evening there.
We rotate locations each Wednesday, and this was a memorable stop on the list so we want to say thanks to the staff at A Bar Named Sue for hosting us!
Thank you!

I’ve only came here for the awesome music, but today I thought I’d try lunch and wasn’t disappointed! The BLT and onion rings were some of the best I’ve ever had! The spicey aoili on the BLT took it to a whole other level. The onion rings were perfect, breaded not battered, like they should be!

Best of the two in the Valley. It’s pub food, but there’s something about the Kitch Krew here — higher quality output. Shuffleboard is straight and kewl tenders at the bar. Waitresses are hit & miss — some are authentic and some just peddle to single guys. Lots of homage to the Man In Black, love it. Live music with a dedicated stage — local artists!

One of my favorite neighborhood Dives.
I’ve been coming here for 7 years.
Surprisingly good food. I love the Cluckin hot Sammy.
Always fun events happening, and if not there are plenty of games to play, and good tunes to listen to.
They hire good people. Great staff.

Great bar, we enjoyed the live music and our food. You’ll find some fairly priced menu items that will keep bringing you back. We’re very regular patrons of the Midvale location.. and this was our first time here, the food at this Millcreek location was definitely a good notch above. Our favorite items have never been so good. Whiskey chips were fried better here but there was something different, the bbq sauce for the chips imo is better at the State st location

Definitely a younger crowd that gets rowdy after 10:30. Beer pong was nuts. Tons of awesome games to play from ping pong to shuffle board. The food was tasty. The drinks were decent. Everyone seemed to have a great time. Ping pong tournament seemed a bit uppity and the beer pong dude M.C. guy was coming off really annoyed and upset. He was a bit annoying. He talked too much and complained.

Came here with 10 other people all at once because we were bar hopping – which I know can be annoying for bars. Despite this the staff was super accommodating they poured us pitchers of beer right away and even set up a folding table for us.

The place is in a basement. I was impressed by how well the bartender served everyone with it being so busy.
The parking is shared with two other businesses so that’s kind of a pain, but don’t let that distract you from coming and visiting this place.

We had the grilled cheese with a burger patty added It was pretty alright but not very seasoned or flavorful. Their food isn’t that memorable unfortunately but the place has a great vibe. Wish the live music started sooner and it would be incredible if they had a live jazz night. ✨
