Lovely intimate cocktail bar with attentive and personable staff. Didn’t get to try the food, but our cocktails were delicious, and the bartender happily talked with us about their large ingredient selection. They even brought us a sample of a liquor we were interested in the flavors of without us asking. So worth the out of state visit ❤️

It’s a very nice bar, with nice aesthetics and staff. Their drinks are very, very good just a bit pricey but that’s expected for a spot like it. Their drink that was made at the time, The Fastest Kid Alive, was one of the most complex, awesome drinks I’ve ever had. A little bit fruity gin drink with a coffee aftertaste; never had anything like it it was awesome. I was disappointed when told it’s not made anymore because their cocktails are seasonal, but the second time going I had a different drink that wasn’t as good but was still very good.
Overall, if you don’t mind spending a bit more cash, then get a drink here. If they had that aforementioned drink I’d give it a full 5 stars for “food.”

Not sure what’s going on in here- we attempted to sit at the bar, where a few seats were open, to be told those spots were being held by a few people that arrived before us. Since when were spots reserved at a bar? We were ushered out and felt very unwelcome and we were treated very condescendingly. I’m sure the drinks here were great, but me and my partner felt very looked over, and we were even guests at the hotel. I don’t recommend this place if you expect to be treated kindly.

NYC-cocktail-bar quality place in Philly. Can a cocktail be life-changing? Yes, when it’s the Improved Whiskey Cocktail with the clearest ice you’ve ever known. Long, Slow Whisper was also amazing.

Love this bar. The inventive cocktails are some of the best and most original in the city. Attentive and friendly staff. $26 for a burger is an eye-watering price for a mouth-watering treat (but we might get it again).

Highly recommend the “Deathtrap” and “Improved whisky”. Gougers and smoked whitefish rillittes were very tasty. Little gem lettuce salad was a miss. Will try to come back next time we are in Philly

A.Bar was recommend to us by another bar tender in the area. We are so glad we were able to drop by during our time in Philly. I had the Lookin for Beans with rum. It tasted lake a Yuzu pina colada on a rock in the best way possible.

Been coming here for years. Best drinks in town hands down. Worth the price. Best espresso martini by far. The March of Industry is to die for. Always a chill and cozy ambiance. Highly recommend. At the time I post this the bars rating is 4.5 – which is ridiculous and made me write this review. It’s a 4.9 bar if I ever saw one.
