Our first experience in SAMS PLACE was amazing. Upon entering, we were enthusiasticly greeted by Vanessa. She was knowledgeable about the different beers as well as
alcoholic drinks. When we were ready to order from the menu – again – Vanessa knew all the different dishes. We are very impressed by this young lady’s personality and knowledge as a greeter and server. Kudos the the owner for hiring this special young lady. Also, we ordered wings and deep fried oysters. OMG, they were the fabulous! Best oysters I’ve ever eaten. The cook, Miguel has a special way of turning out fabulous food. Congrats SAMS PLACE for hiring these two special individuals.

Me and my woman love coming here! They have great food & drinks and the staff are friendly with good customer service which we appreciate very much. My favorite go to is the “Grand Sam” breakfast, best chicken fried steak in town!!

This place follows the typical sports bar format, with numerous TV screens and long tables perfect for gatherings. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, where you can watch live sports broadcasts. While the service staff seemed a bit understaffed compared to the number of customers, the food received positive feedback, especially the fried items. Overall, it’s a recommended spot, and I plan to visit again later.

Haven’t been there in about 12 years, but what they’ve done is amazing. The food was great, the servers were friendly, and their covered and heated patio is amazing! Karaoke on Sundays just started, too. Highly recommend.

Nice place, a lot of tvs. It looks bigger than the outside would make you think. Honestly, service was slow, but it was pretty busy and I understand and would go back. Solid menu and good drink selection. Check it out for yourself. Menu pics as of 11/25/2022.

This place is our crew’s weekly meet up spot for Tacos & Margaritas! The amazing team (from out front to back in the heart of the house, they never fail to take care of us, regardless if we’re a party of 3 or 14! They check off every need!! Taco specials on Mondays & wall to wall TV’s for when there is a game on!! Plus, the girls behind the bar make probably my favorite (spicy with fresh Jalapeños) Margarita in all of Eugene They give us a reason to look forward to Mondays

Since the new owners have taken over they have lost the best cooks and a couple great servers. Weekend breakfast is terrible.

Definitely good food, and the service was really fast. “One of the best patios in Eugene.” They weren’t lying. Definitely a big game day sports bar.

What a hidden gem! Great service and amazing food. I had the special smoked Gouda Mac and cheese with German sausage. Finished it up with some lava cake and a scoop of vanilla. I will definitely be coming back again.
