This place is absolutely off the charts! My parents and I came on a Tuesday night, wanted to share three dishes with different flavor. We got the peppered crab appetizer to start, and followed with a chicken stew, a portobello mushroom dish, and a seafood curry. Everything was a hit. The spiced coconut broth of the stew, combined with the creamy mushroom dish and protein packed curry was awesome! We were also surprised with one free dessert on the house! Will definitely be coming back to check out other menu items 🙂

The food is amazing. The staff is so friendly and attentive. It was my first time dining here and it wont be my last as I plan to return many times until I eat my way through the menu. The beet appetizer was a favorite. And the moong dal halea dessert was so good. Ravi the owner said it takes 4 hours to make. Last but not least, best chai I’ve ever had

Had a date night here, this is an excellent little Restaurant! Phenomenal Indian Cuisine and great service.

The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming, mostly in regards to the service which is Top Tier here.

It’s a small restaurant on the corner on a fairly busy street. Parking is not easy I’m afraid, it’s meter/paid parking and spots are quite limited in this restaurants area.

All inclusive, this a wonderful restaurant, and will definitely revisit! If you are in the Eastchester, New York area, and interested in some Indian Cuisine, I highly recommend this spot.

This is my boyfriend and I’s 2nd visit, and it was just as good as the first The food is always fresh and delicious. My favorite item is the jackfruit biriyani since I can get it made vegan and it’s sooo tasty. My boyfriend got the lamb vindaloo. Appetizer was the tofu in chili garlic. Highly recommend coming here! Note that they do close for an hour 3:30-4:30

The food was delicious, high quality, and beautifully plated. I had the smoked eggplant appetizer, then the portabella mushroom entree. The server was attentive, knowledgeable on the menu and was open to accommodating some food sensitivities. Great vibe overall and I would definitely go back!

I was very disappointed by my experience here given the number of positive reviews. The chicken tikka masala was advertised as marinated cubes of boneless chicken breast (supposed to be white meat), but what I received was dark meat, and some pieces seemed undercooked. That was not what was described on the menu. The flavors were fine, but overall the food was not close to my standards and didn’t live up to the hype. I’m not sure why this place is rated so highly

My wife and I couldn’t wait to eat the leftovers we brought home last night from Marigold! We tried their prix fixe menu for the first time on Valentine’s Day. We loved the food. The Dhaba Chicken Curry was seriously tasty. If you are not Indian and you’ve attempted to cook Indian, you know how difficult it can be to build the right balance of spices to create “just the right” curry. Marigold’s Curry has a terrifically nuanced depth of flavor – cumin, cardamom and turmeric can be felt, along with some tomato for body (no cream!) and the perfect heat level, giving you that deep soul-warming finish. We loved it. The other sauces (we tried a few) are light, clean and bright, not dull or oily like some Indian restaurants. They offered a fried fish appetizer that was awesome (I hope they have it on their regular menu, too). The owner is on top of the details, the staff is attentive and the atmosphere is very warm and cozy overall. All this to say, Marigold was the perfect spot for two adventurous eaters to spend a chilly Saturday night and we were so glad we did!

The location has plenty of street parking and a small municipal lot nearby. The restaurant itself is cozy, warmly lit, and decorated well. The host and wait staff were friendly and attentive. The menu had the usual dishes. We ordered the food and had a couple of bottles of Indian beer. The food was brought over shortly and the dishes were delicious and well presented. We had to skip on desserts as we ordered a bit much. This place is highly recommended.

We visited Marigold for dinner — a cozy, small place with really appealing décor and a warm vibe.

We ordered Chicken Biryani and Chilli Chicken. The biryani was the star of the evening: incredibly flavorful, fragrant basmati rice layered with tender chicken, well-balanced spices, and enough aroma to whet your appetite before the first bite. It hit just the right notes — rich but not overwhelming, savory with subtle warmth.

The Chilli Chicken was alright; good effort, but it fell a bit short of what one hopes for. The sauce was a bit mild, and the chicken could have been more crisp or punchy. Just okay, nothing wrong, but not quite as exciting as the biryani.

Overall, it was a satisfying dinner. Definitely worth going for the biryani — I’d try other dishes next time and hope the chilli chicken is a bit more lively.
