We had a reservation. It took 20 minutes to seat us, 20 minutes for a server to come over. Apps came quick then dinner was mediocre. We had a second lobster tail arrive after being told the first one was dropped on the floor. We asked for bread, it never came but we were charged. I had a very warm glass of $15 champagne and we waited over 45 minutes for carrot cake to go, and additional time for tiramisu they forgot about. For an expensive dinner nothing was worth it. I wouldn’t come back. Our sever did his best but wasn’t able to provide a level of service for a “5 star” restaurant.
EDIT: The general manager reached out about my review. The discussion wasn’t to ask how they could improve but to say my timing and review was wrong. Customer service isn’t a top priority. I was asked for a $50 credit to return and remove my post.

This was such a beautiful experience. We used to come here and when it was a matter of taste. Aurora has been such an upgrade and beautiful experience. Our server, Averie was the sweetest and was attentive to everything! I usually do not do reviews, but I felt the need to post this! If you’re debating, please give it a try! Ask for Averie!!

Considering there are little to no really good restaurants on this side of town: beautiful place. Food is very good. Staff is very nice. I enjoy coming here! Highly recommend steaks, Spicy Rigatoni, Pasta La Bistecca, Sausage and Peppers, and meatballs.

4/5 An elegant restaurant with waterfront dining options and quality service. Everything my husband and I had was delicious. The chicken marsala paired perfectly with the brussel sprouts. While it’s obvious Aurora has invested heavily in providing a top-notch dining experience, it’s disappointing that the pricing’s really high on certain items. The soups ($15 each) and affogato ($20) were super expensive for what you get… Be reasonable.

Great atmosphere right on the lake. Service from the minute you pull into the parking lot to the time you leave is five star. Our server Sadie, made sure everything was perfect, kept an eye on the details and was prompt right up to the check delivery. We will be back for sure. The food was fantastic. Chef knows his stuff.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Aurora on the Lake and had such a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, but what truly made the night special was our server, Zay.
We don’t usually go to fine-dining restaurants, and Zay never once made us feel out of place. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, explained everything in a way that felt comfortable and welcoming, and was genuinely personable. He checked in at just the right times—attentive without hovering—so we could really enjoy our meal and the occasion.
The atmosphere, the food, and especially the service made this anniversary one we’ll always remember. Huge thanks to Zay for making the experience feel relaxed, special, and unforgettable. We’ll absolutely be back.

We had such a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner. The filet was absolutely amazing! It was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. It truly made the night feel special. Our server, Matthew, was also incredible. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect without ever making us feel rushed. Thank you for such a great experience. What a lovely place to get breakfast! The lattes are priced well and taste great, the staff is very friendly and attentive, and the selection of food and pastries is excellent! You definitely need to check this place out, you will love it. Perfect for a solo brunch, grab and go, or for a date! The interior is absolutely gorgeous as well. 10/10 in all categories.

I decided to propose to my girlfriend at Aurora on the Lake and it was the best choice I could have ever made. Cheri, the manager, and Ashley worked so hard to make our day perfect, and it was! The food was amazing! The Pasta was so delicious and my steak was perfectly cooked. The service by our waiter, Yousif, was top notch. I would definitely recommend Aurora to anyone who wants to celebrate a special occasion, they won’t regret it! Thank you for making it the most memorable day.

This place was our first date when it was Matter of Taste…. It’s moved WAAAY up!!
Went this evening with intentions of just checking it out for a drink and moving on to elsewhere for dinner.
After excellent drinks from James we changed our minds and gave it a shot.
Completely baffled by the reviews!
Our food was amazing!! Give it 10 stars!! The Short Rib was melt in your mouth!!! Not sure what the chicken dish was called but it resembled Chicken piccata and it was perfectly balanced on flavor!
Had the Burrata appetizer with pesto and it was a winner!! Maybe more tomato’s and just another bread or two to finish it off would have been perfect!
Ashley was behind the bar and very attentive. New girl at the bar who worked banquets was wonderful and engaging!
VERY impressed by Roiner who continuously worked and was nonstop with polishing glassware and was wonderful conversation!!
I work in this industry and this young man impressed me!!!
