The food was delicious especially the pork sliders. But the only menu is on the top wall of the cashier. There is no printed copy to read while ordering at the counter. I went there at around 4 pm on Sunday afternoon. There was no one before me. But I had to wait for 30 mins for my order. The customers came after me were chatting and laughing very loudly in the waiting area with no consideration for other customers. The TV also played very loudly. So it was very uncomfortable to stay in the waiting room for such a long time. There are some tables outside of the restaurant, but no use while raining. So it is best to call and order, and then pickup later in order to avoid the long wait and the terrible environment. But I would just avoid it all together.

Lil Red’s was better than I expected. I ordered BBQ ribs, jerk chicken, seafood gumbo, yams, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes and baked beans, beef patties and a Banana pudding.
The ribs and jerk chicken were well prepared and had good flavor. The jerk sauce definitely has some kick to it. The seafood gumbo was underwhelming, the roux was very watery. All the sides were good, especially the Mac and cheese and the yams. Beef patties was mainly pastry and very little filling.
Overall, good spot of you’re in the mood for BBQ or some Jamaican style food. I’ll definitely be back to try other items.

A co-worker took me here for his going away lunch. I got the ribs and mac and cheese. I would give the ribs a 4 out of 5. They were tender, juicy and meaty. But the Mac & Cheese was a 10 out of 5. Yes you heard me right a 10 out of 5. This was the best Mac & Cheese I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had my fair share. I wish I could make a big batch of this for myself at home. This place isn’t cheap but if the food is good it’s all good to me. I will definitely be back. I plan on bringing my dad next time. So I can see the look on his face when he tries this Mac & Cheese!

My brother was in the mood for jerk chicken, and so we dropped in for some great food. I ordered some pulled pork sliders but received the pulled pork meal, which I really enjoyed. The garlic mashed potatoes were savory, the cole slaw was a little dry but good, and the cornbread was tiny but also very good. My brother had the oxtail, with garlic mashed potatoes and some greens that he enjoyed. Some sides we had were the jerk pork that were to die for, and some red beans n rice that were tasty. The banana pudding was to die for, I almost ordered another, but I was so stuffed.

I have heard of so many great things about Lil Red’s but my first try of the amazing food here was from a corporate event at PitchBook, where Lil Red’s catered for us.
Lunch was absolutely delicious! I tried the BBQ chicken and jerk pork, both of which were really good. The meat was tender and flavorful, and had the perfect combination of savory and sweetness.
My personal take on the jerk pork is that a combination of the fatty and lean part tastes the best because it’s even juicer and has just the right amount of fat.
A splash of BBQ sauce elevates the flavor profile, but even without the sauce, both types of meat taste great.
Rice & peas was a highlight that I particularly appreciated. The kidney beans make rice that much more flavorful.

I don’t know how this place has escaped my knowledge for so long! I’m always looking for oxtails and Jamaican patties and this place offers both.
Came in for lunch on a Friday. Tried the oxtail meal with two sides – opted for collard greens and mac & cheese. I think pairing the super tender oxtails with the creamy mac & cheese was a bit of overkill because both were so rich. Would probably go for baked beans or rice to go with the oxtails instead. Regardless, everything I had was super delicious! The meal came with a moist and sweet cornbread muffin, and I also ordered an individual portion pecan pie.
Lastly, I ordered two Jamaican beef patties. Both the beef filling and the crust were just perfect. Thank god I don’t have to wait until I visit NYC to get Jamaican patties… I finally found a local place for them.

Unreal Jamican/BBQ!!! Nice workers/owner. I absolutely loved this place. Big portions and good prices for BBQ. I will definitely be returning and spreading the good word about lil Red’s. Lil Reds catered our event this past week and let me tell you my wife and I who own an event venue and deal with food caterers a lot don’t have enough good things to say about them!
First of all the food is unbelievable. Packed with flavor and cooked right. We had everyone coming up to us and raving about the food and how good it was! To have all our guests happy and beyond satisfied with dinner was so lovely!
Second of all, the customer service is top notch. Ernasto the owner of the restaurant was so lovely to deal with all the way through. Communication was on point and was so wonderful with coming in and getting everything setup for our guests! Shoutout to his staff that was there hustling to get things in order as well!
Third the cost is second to none, a great reasonable price that doesn’t take advantage of your big day like some catering companies do.
We could go on but I think you all get the point! Get your event catered by Lil Red’s you will not regret it and go get som dinner while your at it!
