Absolutely DISGUSTING . First of all when you walk in It’s not very inviting the atmosphere feels stale and unwelcoming. Its an open kitchen.You think you’d be welcomed in by the smell of delicious Carne Asada on the grill, but no instead it smelled like cleaning chemicals major red flag ,( but hey let’s give them the benefit of the doubt )
My husband and I ordered a Carne Asada taco on flour and a tripa on corn along with a bean and cheese burrito. Everything came out to about roughly $12.
Now we waited about 20 minutes for our order to arrive. The restaurant was 60% full so it’s kinda understandable . As we waited, we sat near the register and the kitchen. I noticed behind the register they had the aguas frescas. The large foam cups were near the Jamaica water and had drippings or smudges of some type of red, which I assume was the Jamaica. Every time someone ordered a Agua Fresca the lady at the cashier reached behind her and grabbed a foam cup and didn’t bother to wipe off, even if the person was getting an Horchata drink. Every cup was being handed out with red smudges.
Now let’s get to the food.
They bring you a stainless steel container with salsa. Presentation poor , that thing had so many smudged fingerprints on it looked like it had just came from a daycare. I don’t think they have ever bothered to wipe them down . My husband‘s Carne Asada taco was shameful . I truly believe they don’t marinate their meat. It was as if they had soaked it in water overnight, then cooked it , because it was pale grey in color and desperately needed salt and It had NO flavor. My tripa taco was the worst I’ve ever had ! As soon as I took a bite, It felt like they must’ve sprinkled some sand in there because I could feel the crunch against my teeth. It also lacked in flavor. Very sad .
The worst of all was the bean and cheese burrito. They had whole pinto beans in it, and it was extremely watery. The water didn’t even taste like pinto bean broth just brown water. The so-called Monterey Jack cheese was more rubbery than my shoe. It had no stretch whatsoever and no flavor. I felt like I was eating old silly putty. The only thing you can taste was the burnt tortilla.
I don’t know who encouraged this poor persons vision, but he people of Yuma do not deserve such disgusting food, do better.

Place was full, but there were plenty of seats, we didn’t wait long for our food and the staff was really friendly, the food was great and pricing was better compared to other taco spots, definitely coming back again.

My wife got her food and then they just forgot the rest of the order. I sat for about 10 minutes then went and asked about my food, they had no idea what to say, then they found it. Just sitting there getting cold. Then I came back for the other part of my order, was told they will bring it to me. Minutes later I can finally eat. By that time I’m not even hungry. Ate half and left no tip. On top of bad service the meat isn’t the same flavor. Not the same service like in somerton. And not the same flavor. Somerton is the best. Hands down.

We tried this place out for the first time with our big family. We spent quite a bit for a meal that was only mediocre. They were fast in getting our food to us for as busy as they were but the meat was only ok. If I’m going to spend that much, I’m expecting the food to be top quality. Maybe we’ll try them again after they’ve been open for longer to see if it’s any different.

I highly recommend this place, they have the best tacos and burritos con Carne asada. The taste of the Carne asada will be the best you have ever tasted.

Been a few times now the service is very hit or miss, the thing that made me never want to come back is the fact they say they close at 11 but at 10:20-30 they will deny u service or they will give ur the shittiest meat and burnt carne asade that will leave u sick the next following morning. will definitely not come back

No onion, no celantro, you cant add any beans to any tacos you can only eat beans if you order bean n cheese burrito, the hot sauce and guacamole are in ketchup style containers. Very bad style
