I recently went to this establishment and ordered the brisket lunch special. Upon arrival, there was a line but it was moving pretty steady. We go our order and the young man (great customer service from him) stated that there’s a charge for using card, a whole dollar and change more.
FYI: In Missouri, ANY businesses stating that there’s a service charge attached to using a card should always state that and it should be reflected on the receipt.
We pulled up some more and got our order. With lunch specials, it comes with a side and soda. The gentleman forgot our soda and went to retrieve them.
At first glance, the bbq sauce reminded me of ketchup and it wasn’t as thick as I liked it. The brisket was thin. Idk what I was thinking it’d look like but that wasn’t it!
Was it filling? Yes. Would I buy it again? No.

I like STL Q. But the last couple of times it’s been old yesterdays food. My beef hot link is not the same quality from a few orders back. The tip & snoot was just warmed up as well as the wings. It’s leftover! I’m disappointed & u wont get me out of 30$ plus dollars again!

We went here to order some food and was surprised that you could not walk in the restaurant and order. We pulled in line with only 1 vehicle in front of us and waited. A lady came out and gave the order to the vehicle in front of us and then went back into the establishment. A guy then came out and inquired about our order at which time we told him no one had taken our order, he informed us that someone would be right out to take it but after waiting 15 minutes we decided to leave. I tried to call to place the order but no one answered and the answering service was full. There is absolutely no way to answer online. It is 2025 and this establishment is stuck back in the 90’s with their order process. After getting we noticed that all of the other BBQ places in the area had a way to either call in and order or to order online. We decided to go with C&K because they did offer a streamlined way to order online. Just placed our order and are now waiting for the arrival to time to go pick it up.
Come on ST Louis Q there has to be a better way to do business than what you are doing. 2 cars left before I left, they were behind me so no one had taken their orders either. Maybe next time but if the wait is anything like it was tonight we’ll be leaving again. Get online ordering where people can order, pay and come and pick it up. It streamlines the process and keeps customers happy.

St. Louis Q gets 5 stars from me!!! I cannot believe the OUTSTANDING customer service I received. I live in Memphis, TN and was in STL for my Sister-in-love’s Homegoing Celebration. I had St. Louis Q about 7 months ago and I’ve been craving it every since. Well they were closed when I arrived but the Manager on Duty accommodated me after hearing my dilemma. He made me an order of Snoots and they were delicious. I recommend St. Louis Q without reservation or hesitation. I’m sorry I didn’t get the manager’s name but I’m eternally grateful for his willingness to help me out.

This is not a fall off the bone style. More dry style. The ribs & mini tips were sime work to get through the cartilage & get off the bone. The potatoe salad is more of a mashed potatoe salad. The staff is just wonderful & pleasant. The sauce was amazing & the spagetti is so good. More of an old school rib option over the new age fall off the bone style. Decent prices…

Will not ever see another dime of my money. The man who gave me my food demanded a whole tip “next time have cash on hand for a tip because that’s how we make our money” I always TIP.. My man and I tip generously but we tip due to service!. But the way he demanded cash and the tone he used was crazy, okay… and then he stood at my car waiting on a tip. I gave him $$ and then he walks off… like did you split it with your co worker SIR??? The crazy thing is I have been here many times, I try to give y’all chances everytime! ALL OF THE FOOD is OVERLY SALTED, esp’ the pulled pork. The rib tips are not good. The wings be poorly thoroughly cooked. The beans are not good at all, overly soupy.. Potato salad is so disgusting. It’s literal mashed potatoes and some type of mayo base. The lines y’all have do not be worth the time, the prices, or the wait. I hate that y’all don’t put effort or love into the service or the food.. Needless to say, I threw my food away after waiting a long time. It was unbearable and salty as ever. I couldn’t eat it. The man got a tip on top of the $ & he was disrespectful. A lady took my order though on top of about 8 other cars, she was nice… I wanted to check my food and give her the tip if she came back. That’s how I would have determined the tip. So again, did you split it Sir? I knew the food would be disastrous AGAIN. We will not return.

The best had here. That’s if you get it fresh. You have to ask for it fresh or he gave us dried and tough meat. My favorite sides are the potato salad l and green beans. Spaghetti was dry without enough salt.

Unprofessional… we waited an hour for 2 rib tip sandwiches. The lady came out and tried to give us the wrong order. Then they sent a man out to ask what our orders were and he had white foam in the corners of his mouth.. At that point we asked for our money back and was told that they don’t do refunds. We will NEVER go back there again

Was disappointed this trip, purchased 2 Q burgers both were old are very over cooked 2 bites from one none from other. Gave to my dog.
$10 loss the chances we tale with fast foods
