A nice little boutique italian restaurant nestled in downtown Lockport. They have quite an extensive menu with all the italian favorites one would expect. We were promptly seated and served, but it does take a bit for the food to come out. We ordered the sausage and peppers appetizer which was delicious, and stuffed shells, also very good…and really stuffed!! Waited about 35 minutes for our food, but the restaurant was moderately busy. There is also a nice bar. A glass of house cabernet is about 8 dollars. All together dinner for 2 is about 50 minus tip. Would definitely recommend trying this place. I would go back.

Our first visit there, it was Sunday afternoon, we did not have reservation. It wasn’t a problem. Tracy was our server . She recommended Veal Florentina & I ordered it. It was served hot & delicious. We waited a little for a main dish. My husband had chicken carbonara & it was rich in flavor & quite satisfying . We’ll be back.

Great Italian. The mushroom and minestrone soups are great. The NY strip is cooked to a perfect medium rare. The tiramisu is a must have . I highly recommend if you are in the area!

Got there at 4:15, waited on promptly. Dinner took quite a while to come but food was excellent. The 3 of us had chicken onesta, chicken Antonio and steak. Steak was cooked perfectly and chicken dishes were amazing. Worth the wait. Will definitely go again.

Food was good. House salad had too much dressing for my liking. I should have ordered on the side. Lobster ravioli was al dente and tasty. Sauce was too watery but the raviolis are big with a lot of lobster filling. You can feel the strong lobster taste. Service was 5 stars. Shout out to Cecily my server. Very attentive and pleasant. Friday at 5:30pm and the place was busy so plan accordingly.

I am excited to write this view because my family and I had such a great experience dinning at Mama Onesta’s . It was our first time . I made a reservation on Father’s day to celebrate my husband’s special day . It is a nice small restaurant . First had my favorite wine came cold and hubby ordered watermelon martini with fresh hot garlic bread knots . Then we ordered Fried Asiago Cheese Stuffed Gnocchi and Mozzarella Carrozza they both were delicious specially the Gnocchi.

My husband and I have dined at Mamma Onesta’s many times. We decided to go this weekend, because it had been some times since we enjoyed good Italian food. The garlic rolls, sangria, and main dishes were delicious. My husband is very selective with risotto and he raved about the risotto special. I got the gorgonzola gnocchi; it was delicious. I highly recommend a visit. The service, food, and atmosphere are all great.
