Awesome cakes and cookies!! organic fresh ingredient, less sweet than traditional American bakeries perfect sweetness. I almost tried every single sliced cake and cookie in the store (opera cake, dark hazelnut cookie, shortbread cookies, rum raisin cookies are my favorite ❤️ ❤️) strongly recommend everyone to try it. The store owner is a super nice and friendly lady ☺️

This is easily the best sushi restaurant I have ever tried! I visit very often and can always expect high quality, thoughtfully made products! The owner is very kind and creates a lovely atmosphere in the store. I have tried numerous types of sushi, the miso soup, and some of the bakery items here, and everything is delicious. There are a wide variety of menu items for all types of paletes, and even people who don’t usually like sushi absolutely fall in love when I take them here! Everything is put together very quickly which makes it quite convenient to visit even when you are busy. I would recommend this restaurant over and over again for anybody in the area! : )

You must visit this cute sushi restaurant by UCI. Service was delightful and very professional. They truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing! I enjoyed every single bite of their SUSHI, you tasted the freshness of the raw fishes and rice. Absolutely the best sushi we had in Irvin. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable for a pair of sushi. Highly recommend!

Everything was very tasty, and the sushi was fresh and delicious. The place is very clean, and I really liked the cozy atmosphere with the tiny tables—it makes the experience feel warm and comfortable. It was also very pleasant to receive a macaron dessert as a gift. Absolutely recommend this place!

I was out looking for food on foot and had already walked for two hours encountering restaurants that claimed to be open but then either had some excuse for not working or had closed doors. Frustrated and hungry I walked into Iro sushi wanting some poke after my gym workout. The lady working there said that she doesn’t have that on the menu but can definitely make it for me! Absolute gem of a place, this is what I call good service and attention to the customer. Food was amazing. There is also an awesome little bakery inside and sushi, obviously. Ill definitely be coming back

owner didn’t want to give me any soy sauce. She told me that sushi are already dressed with other sauce. She also refused to give me chopsticks and gave me fork instead. Awful experience will never order anything here again. Spicy Crispy tuna rolls were bad, rice was very dense.

It is the place for you if a) you want to try something unique and don’t care about how the quality can be improved, or b) you’re not here for sushi, and instead cakes, cookies, etc.
I bet you can tell how little attention they can pay on the sushi from the chaotic structure of their menu, but I got myself some nigiri just to be sure.
The sushi rice is terrible–it’s either not fresh or pressed too hard, or more likely both, so that it becomes way too dense and hard than it should be.
The tuna smells kinda weird but tbh some people might be ok with that.
When you have time, try to find any picture of nigiris on their wall. Spoiler–there’s none.
