This place used to be great about 12 years ago. I decided to take the family around CLE and stopped in. I had the traditional gyro with the pork, and today is the next day. I have been throwing up all morning, and it’s water coming out of the other end. Their gyro was the most grease laden thing I think I have ever eaten, and the meat was basically like all old dried up small bits of what I can only describe as old bacon. Definitely got food poisoning. I remember getting nice chunks of meat previously, and this was not it.

The worst ever. The chicken gyro looked liked deep friend chicken at the bottom of a deep fryer. My husband’s lamb gyro was just as bad!! The fries thin and oily and soggy. Stay away!!! We through it all in our trash can that had to go out in our trash bin!!

Who drives 40 minutes each way for a gyro? THIS GUY! …and totally worth it for the best gyro you’re gonna find in the Cleveland Area (honestly it probably the thing I miss most about living in Lakewood)! Even the tzatziki is heads and shoulders over the others places’ “dressing”. Haven’t tried many of the other menu items but if they’re as good as the gyros they’ve gotta be FANTASTIC!

I have been here three times and dined inside for all visits. The main thing is consistency of speed of service, affordable prices and quality of food made fresh on each and ever visit. The food is hot, fresh and delicious. Service is friendly and always done with speed. I have tried both the chicken and lamb gyros in both sizes and both were delicious and served piping hot. Why only 4 stars? Well they could use a bathroom for public use ( unfortunately I didn’t see one). I just needed to wash my hands afterwards. The sandwiches are big enough for three small people to dine on but can be a little messy towards the end( super juicy ). Small place with a lot of heart, integrity and quality in food service. Larger restaurants could take a page out of your play book. Kudos I will be back and bring some friends.

Amazing Gyros! Great Greek fries. So let’s talk about the meat….. American gyro tons of meat. Greek gyro (Lamb) Great flavor, huge amount of meat. So basically I used to live in Lakewood on Bunts for about a year. Discovered this
place on the corner and was blown away by the price, service and atmosphere. Everything is good here and one of the only places that is worth traveling for if you want a good gyro, fries, beet, and other Greek food and baklava. Best gyro place from East to West period!

Ordered a massive amount of vegetarian-options for takeout – my husband and I immediately decided we will be back as often as possible. Do yourself a favor and get the Spin Dip fries – best fries I’ve ever had!

After having cocktails at The Richland I stumbled into the Greek Village ~
The smell as I opened the door was truly amazing!
I ordered a Gyro extra Onion to go. As I waited I watched as the person with a big ️ Sword was shaving the Lamb meat for my Gyro . Service was quick and courteous. Two Thumbs Up

Awesome little restaurant to get Greek food at. The gyro fries are delicious and we all loved the hummus. Clean place and friendly, knowledgeable employees. They had no problems making things without certain items for our preferences.
