This place used to be great, but obviously whoever’s in chargenow does not care at all. Spent over $60 for a Reuben, bowl of chili, patty melt that came on a bun instead of rye bread, swimming in grease, cup of chili, and two side salads. The cashier did not tell us that it was an extra seven dollars for salad as our “side.” My husband isn’t picky but couldn’t eat his ruben- the meat was like rubver- he told them he couldn’t eat it and threw it away!!. Threw away most of the hamburger too, it was so greasy. When my husband said he could not eat the Reuben there was no offer to give him a refund or something else. Check out the photos! The only thing ok was the chili and I can get the same at Wendy’s. The salad was just ok- not very fresh, they don’t peel the cucumbers at all and dressing is in a package.

My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner and were not disappointed. I ordered the Reuben and my wife had the Philly cheese steak. Both sandwiches were great! I ordered mine with pasta salad and that was disappointing… not much on flavor. I also recommend the fried green tomatoes. The staff was friendly and our food arrived quickly. The restaurant was clean too. Will 100% dine here again if we’re on this side of town!

I happened upon this dining spot while solo-adventuring in Raleigh. When I saw the overall good reviews & perused the menu beforehand, I knew I just had to try the Fried Green Tomato BLT with some sweet potato fries. That sounded like the perfect southern twist of a traditional BLT, & I wasn’t disappointed! The ciabatta bread was perfect to prevent palate scratching (a danger of BLTs), & the pimiento cheese oozed out with each bite. Certainly not the healthiest item on the menu— I could feel my arteries clogging with each morsel— but when in Raleigh, right? It was so filling, I took half of it back to my hotel for breakfast the next day (and it was indeed still tasty even cold). Service was friendly & fast. Only wish I had saved some room for dessert, as the options looked scrumptious.

The food was tasty. I got the French dip which was good, just quite salty and had a bit of hard gristle in it. The potato salad was excellent! My husband got the roast beef panini and loved it. Had to top it off with the lemon raspberry cheesecake- that was delicious.

This is one of my go to lunch spots if I’m In the area. I usually end up with the turkey Brie panini with pasta salad, but everything I’ve ordered has been very good. It’s a little pricey but I’d say average for that area – and the quality of the food is top notch.

Sauerkraut away from home hidden under rye with a comforter of cheese keeping the corned beef cozy through to crepsculence. Tap into a place, be it within yourself or on Wycliff road. Breath. Know you are you and so too, soon, will be the sandwich. 10 square feet of wheat yeilds the cup and a half of flour used to make a roughly 1 pound loaf of bread from which your sandwich and now you are constructed. You are thousands of sandwiches, the hours of the people who harvest their ingredients, the sun which feeds you with its light and will reclaim that same energy with its inevitable expansion. The fries could’ve had more salt.

I have been coming here for over a decade and haven’t bothered to review all these years.
What prompted this today was the BANGING ranch that was included with my chicken tenders yesterday.
I seriously believe it was the best ranch I have EVER tasted and I am a RANCH EXPERT. Your ranch used to be second to Player’s Retreat…but no longer. You are now KING OF RANCH. Bask, all.

I went during lunch rush so I had to wait a little longer than I would have liked. The black bean burger was good, service was good and atmosphere was pretty basic. Overall no real complaints, I would go back, prices are high, but they are high everywhere!

This has become a go-to lunch spot for me in Raleigh, I’ve never had a bad sandwich here. They also frequently satiate my craving for good potato salad. Highly recommend any of their paninis or salads, I do wish they had more soup choices though! The staff are always super friendly, sometimes orders can take a bit because it’s crowded during lunch time and they never seem to get flustered.
