We had a surprise party for my dad’s 80th birthday there. It was fantastic. The interior is gorgeous and modern. The food was amazing. We had a combo appetizer plate and the mushrooms were a delight. The cake in the picture was not from the restaurant. The only slight downside was the washroom. My mum uses a walker and the 2 stalls are regular size. If someone was in a wheelchair there would be no access unless it’s in a different part of the building.

Soup was great but the upsale for toast to go with it was not worth it.
Fish and chips were quite good, chicken wings as well but needed more sauce.
Not a bad spot for dinner! We do not recommend their breakfast, we found the meat and eggs to be really overcooked.

Hands down my hometown favourite — Steven’s Restaurant never misses! The food is always fresh, delicious, and made with love. The staff are super friendly and make you feel like family every time you walk through the door. The newly renovated dining and bar area is the place you want to be — comfortable, stylish, and perfect for enjoying a pint while catching your favourite sports play. Their patio is amazing too — a great spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a meal outside. Whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this place will not disappoint.
If you go away from here hungry, you’ve definitely done something wrong!

Such a caring and wonderful family that owns this place. My Mom has been in the hospital across the road for over a week and wasnt in the mood for hospital food. I called Steven’s Bar-B-Q Restaurant and asked if there was anyway they vould bring some food over to the hospital and they didnt even hesitate. I just got off the phone with my Mom and she said it was absolutely wonderful. Thanks so much!!!!

Absolutely amazing! We’re quite hungry in our way to Bruce peninsula and decided to stop at Steven’s because of the amazing reviews and I was delighted with everything. Service is lovely, you feel like home. Food was delicious and super big portions. The garlic bread is to die for and the meat is absolutely mouthwatering. I highly recommend and will definitely come back more times.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Lots of variety of food. Their prime rib burger was amazing. My husband said his steak was cooked perfectly. Definitely a must try in the area.

Just a short drive from Toronto (around 200km), Steven’s Restaurant in Markdale was a pleasant surprise. This small town offers fantastic food quality in a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Their menu caters to a variety of tastes, offering everything except pizza. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend trying Steven’s.
