I ordered a Philly roll based on the description on menu. I called the store to advise I was not given the correct order and was told the chefs who have been here over 20 years never changed it and has always been cream cheese and imitation crab then proceeds to hang up. This is not what the menu states. Very disappointed. I should have looked at reviews prior and would have avoided. 3.7 stars now make sense. Will not be ordering from here again.

I would only come for the sushi , wings, and house fried rice.

California Roll – tasted fresh and was good, will order again.
Waikiki Crunch – tasted fresh and was good, will order again.
8pc wing combo with fries and sweet tea/braised- over all good except the fries. I liked that the braised sauce came in a separate dish and not poured over the wings. My wings were cooked perfectly, and I liked the concept of me consoling how much braised sauce I had on my wings. The sweet teas were spot on perfect. Not too sweet. Wull order again, but 5 the fries.
House fried rice-excellent will definitely order again. Except the peas they were hard texture..
Plain fried rice was decent and came with the entrées I ordered.

Gen Tsos Fr Chicken – not good, lacked flavor, and the sauce made the trading on the chicken saugy, which ruins the chicken breading. For the price of $12.95 It’s not worth it. I will not order again.
Sesame chicken – not good, lacked flavor. The sauce made the breading on the chicken saugy. I’m not sure when sesame chicken came with veggies. For the price of $12.95 It’s not worth it. I will not order again.
Boneless ribs, the sauce was wtered down, so it lacked flavor. The meat was dry and slightly tough. The amount of meat was a great portion for the price of $12.50. But lacked flavor altogether, would not order again.
Sweet Chinese Dounuts- they were okay, I would order again.

One of my favorite to go Chinese restaurants. They have a great variety and the prices are reasonable and the size of the plates are good also. These folks can cook really well. Also the sushi station is pretty good. Our server Honey was really helpful and down to earth and always take her time to greet us and have a small conversation with us.

I do not recommend eating here. The place is dingy looking including the bathroom. The food was not good at all. I ordered the Sesame Chicken lunch special. My order came out too fast which was a red flag. The food was not hot at all. The chicken, if that’s what it was, was not cooked well, had no flavor or texture like other Sesame Chicken that I’ve had. There were hardly no sesame seeds on it except on the top and the sauce tasted off. It was if whatever this was, was sitting out and they threw a generic sesame sauce on it. The rice and broccoli were also cold as was the tasteless spring roll. The only thing that was decent was the hot green tea. I will not be returning.

Please do not eat here. This is my 3rd time at this establishment the past 2 times I have gotten the shrimp egg foo young. This time i tried the happy family lunch special. I took about 3 bites and
I noticed this worm or maggot looking thing in my food. I did contact the resturant sent a pic and was advised that it was a green silk worm and they were really nice about it and apologize and offered me a credit but I declined.

When you order sashimi you’re ordering raw seafood!!!!
Not egg, so you’re charged for sashimi prices for the egg, not a good practice. It doesn’t matter if it said chefs choice. I said sashimi that’s raw seafood not egg . Beware of false business dealings when you’re ordering sashimi from this place for delivery. Sunny’s still the best when you eat in , just beware of the delivery. The truth!!!!!!!

I’m leaving this review today because I absolutely love the service of this place. I have been eating here for over 12 years. Every once in a while when I want a guilty pleasure, good quality meal that’s not too expensive this is my go-to spot. I’ve never had an issue with any food here. They have great options especially since I’m a vegetarian and have a strict gluten-free diet. What’s prompting me to leave this review today is because I had my first negative experience today. I made an order via Ubereats and unfortunately my entire order was wrong. I went back to the establishment and my complete order was remade on the spot. No fuss, no argument, and at no charge to me. I was even told to keep the incorrect order as well. This is how you do good business. Even if you may have employees who don’t understand the legacy that you’re trying to build the effort that you put forth is what makes your presence known and what keeps your customers coming back. Sushi China Cafe is an asset to the Morrow community.
