Bar & Grill located in downtown Marceline. We are a small family run business. Join us to try our custom burgers that are done in house with fresh ingredients. Or maybe try our pasta with all house made sauces. You won’t go thirsty here with a great beer selection (9 draft beers!) and a speciality drink menu that you will love. We do quarterly wine tastings and have built an awesome wine selection for you to enjoy. We also have a party room in the back – contact us to book your private party where we can customize a catering menu for you. Since we are a small business we appreciate you calling ahead for large parties.

After 3 days of travel that included nothing but fast food, car snacks and hotel breakfasts, J&J on Main was our oasis in the dessert.
First- the service. The staff and servers are above and beyond! Not just polite, but warm and welcoming to this weary traveler- even though our order was to go! We ordered about an hour before closing, and I sometimes expect quality to suffer when I know the closing time is soon. Not at J&Js!
Second- location and atmosphere is great. Quaint small town, plenty of parking and a large spacious restaurant you will not feel crowded into.
Lastly- food is amazing!!! We had the Bashful & Dopey burgers, coleslaw, mac&cheese, and the breaded green beans for an appetizer. Even after a drive back to the hotel, the food was great. The mac&cheese is creamy, the coleslaw is the best we’ve ever had and the burgers are fresh beef, seasoned and cooked well with no skimping on the toppings! We are stuffed, satisfied and a little jealous that the people of Marceline have such a great restaurant!
If you are in the area to go to the museum, do yourself a favor and stop here for lunch or dinner. You won’t be disappointed.
I only have one regret- I was so travel weary, I forgot to tip our wonderful server who went above and beyond in the packing up of the food and making sure everything was correct and that we had utensils and napkins.

A total gem. Fantastic lunch, warm hospitality, and real small-town magic. The owner (Jamie, I think) and his son Silas shared great stories about Marceline and the history of the building, which made the stop feel extra special. Food was excellent, vibes even better. If you’re anywhere near Marceline, don’t miss this place.

You are most likely looking here for food after visiting “Main Street” and the Disney connections. In which case you will need filling and substantial food which you’ll get here. American diner theme and served as such, reasonable prices and excellent friendly service. Selection of beers for those wanting such beverages, usual range of sodas and clean restrooms. Plenty of parking outside and along the “main street” you are visiting, it’s a short walk along the central part. Highly recommended for everyone.

I love the atmosphere here! You can sit at the bar or choose a dining table. Jami makes the absolute best specialty cocktails, every month is a new set of flavor, and they are always uniquely garnished. The food has always exceeded my expectations. Their regular menu has some really great items, but their limited edition/holiday menu items are over-the-top amazing. We made reservations and our table was ready when we arrived, you really feel like a special guest. This place is ‘great food’ meets ‘local hangout’ and we are lucky to have this dining option in our small town!

We visited this place in August of 2024 so I am a little late in my review but when something is this good, you don’t forget it. Most, if not all, of the food is named after things related to Disney as this is where Walt Disney’s childhood home is. The burger I had was amazing, the service was absolutely wonderful, and I wasn’t picked on too much when I didn’t watch my step :-). I recommend you getting the onion slivers if you are looking for a good appetizer or even a side to go along with your meal! If you are going to the Walt Disney Museum they have there, make sure to stop here for a meal on your way out, you won’t be disappointed!
