We stopped in for dinner since it is in walking distance of our hotel- Stone Lizard Lodge. It was fantastic. The burgers are wonderful! The fried ice cream was wonderful. The service was excellent. It was busy, but we didn’t have to wait long at all. The cashier and hostess was super sweet, and our waitress Katie was great.

Overall ok. The back pork ribs felt like its been boiled first then grill. Not marinated. Steak cooked medium was still bit raw. Quite ok.

Had lunch here with my husband as we were passing through town. He had a burger, which he liked, and I had a black bean burger, which was better than expected. It was nice to sit on the porch and have natural light. When she seated us, the waitress warned us that she was the only server so it might take a while. We didn’t mind the service being a bit slow, and she was very nice.

All the way from Singapore — this was our first meal here, and it did not disappoint. The service was top-notch; although I forgot the name of the staff member who served us, she was incredibly proactive and attentive. We ordered the only two steak options on the menu and enjoyed both, but what really stood out were the sides — especially the cowboy corn, which was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

If you find yourself anywhere near Blanding, do yourself a favor and stop at Homestead Steak House. This place is a hidden gem in the middle of canyon country. The steaks are cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.

The service is just as impressive as the food—friendly, welcoming, and quick. It feels like a family-run spot where they genuinely care if you’re having a good experience. The atmosphere is cozy and clean, with that small-town charm that makes you feel right at home.

Considering how remote Blanding is, I was I pressed with the food. I ordered the burger and it was delicious. And the fries were some of the best I’ve had in a while anywhere! I decided to try the fried ice cream and it was great. A very unique taste …kind of like a Navajo taco with ice cream. If I’m ever out this way again, I’d eat here again.

Food was ok. Quality was more of a fast food quality than a sit down restaurant. (Honey Mustard came in packet like at fast food restaurant.). Sweet potato fries were pretty sad – like I got what was left at the bottom of the bag.

Not a whole lot of dining options in Blanding. Service was great.

What a lovely dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a warm atmosphere. Our server was awesome and attended to us well. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. I would certainly eat here again. Thank you 🙂

My wife and I ordered burgers with fries, nothing special. The burgers were incredibly dry, the ingredients on the burgers would have been sufficient for a burger 1/3 of the size, and it was over $50 for a mediocre meal. Not exactly “steakhouse” quality.

I’d never had a Navajo Taco before, and it was such a unique and delicious experience! I especially loved the fried shrimp as well.
