This was a lunch outing with coworkers who had been here before. I under their recommendations order the king burrito dinner with bacon. The meal was excellent. It came out hot but not enough to burn my finger. It also didn’t wilt the lettuce which is something that kills meals for me. The portion size was as stated. A size fit for a king. The waitress and the manager came through the meal to make sure we had everything we needed and that the quality was acceptable. The dinning area was spotless and spacious for such a small location. The decor the music and even the news on the television made you feel like you were stepping out of midwestern America and into a dinner in a far off land.

Delicious Queen burrito with rice and beans. Salsa is excellent. Service is very good. Nice big patio for dining outside. Tables with umbrellas. Very good friendly fast service. Ordered a cheese chili relleno. Very very delicious and big. Sopes are also delicious with lots of toppings. Add the gucamole. Very filling. Tacos are great too. Chips and salsa are good. Wait staff is great.

Yup… I can’t believe I didn’t review this place before. Almost 3 years coming back. A year and a half ago this was like 5 min drive from where I lived. Nowadays I drive 20 min to get my tacos. And I do it happily. First time I came here was by coincidence. A small tinny place, humble with no bells and whistles, but a kitchen where they know what they are doing. First visit I just ordered something generic and quick since we were in a rush. But I remember seeing the Pozole in the menu. If you are in a Mexican restaurant and they don’t have Pozole in their menu during fall/winter season then you’re not in a real Mexican place. Not to forget to mention about their Taco de Tripa… you can’t leave without trying it. If you are in the area and want to have a real Mexican taco or food this is the right place.

Got some free lunch at work,and decided on the chorizo burrito with both salsas. It was ok and salty. The beans,cheese,chorizo con huevo combined made it salty. Not to mention adding the green and red salsa made it taste not good. It was a big burrito too. Please watch the salt. I know as Hispanics/Latinos we use it alot but we have to be mindful of others. A few of my other coworkers sed the same thing so it’s not just me.
