Taste is spot on, very delicious . We ordered 37 & 23 . Portions are good for lunch and dinner !! Rice should have been better, didn’t feel like jasmine rice. Meat quantity can be more and less veggies. All in all wonderful taste, will come back for sure.

I had dinner at this place a week ago and thought it was excellent. I showed up around 8 pm and there wasn’t anyone else there so I was a little skeptical at first. But, the owner was very polite and the wait was no more than 5 minutes before there was food on the table. And I am not just taking any food, I am talking some of the best Pad Thai I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone I cared about.

Went here tonight and noticed it’s under new ownership. Before, it was amazing. Now it’s awful. My chicken was undercooked, my boyfriend’s beef was pink, the kids wings were too spicy even though they knew it was for kids, and we got our soda in cans that we had to pour ourselves. The refills came very slowly, and we got our food after waiting for some time and it was room temperature when we finally got it. They never came back around to ask how it was or anything. A few hours after getting home my boyfriend and I started puking. I definitely do not recommend Bangkok View. AT ALL .

I feel bad for saying this because the staff was very nice, but that was the worst green curry soup I’ve ever had and the bowl of soup cost 11.61. The menu was small and not very appealing as far as thai food goes. I won’t be back.

We started with an order of crab rangoon which the waitress took directly from the buffet table. After expecting fresh items from the kitchen, the cold appetizer we got was a disappointment. For our main course my wife and I decided to go with Gang Masaman. The potatoes were quartered, and none of the bad spots were cut out. I personally disagree with serving such large chunks of potatoes because you end up with a huge amount of filler that doesn’t absorb the taste of the curry it’s cooked in. The chicken had a glossy look and a rubbery feel which called it’s quality into question. The sauce itself was extremely watery and made the dish seem more like potato soup with a side of rice. In terms of heat, the scale goes from 1-10, with 10 being the spiciest. I ordered a 5 and after taking a few bites was extremely disappointed after feeling no discernable “burn”. I had expected to feel something, as I usually do when ordering medium, but this was disappointing. The customer service was good, as our waitress was polite and attentive, but that doesn’t make up for the condition of the meal. The place was somewhat busy for the time we arrived, and there seemed to be a few regulars, so I’m sure this won’t resonate with everyone, but if your looking for something comparable to Bangkok Taste or Thai Fusion, you may want to try someplace else.

Before they changed ownership, this was a great authentic place to eat. Bangkok view was the best place for Pad Se Ew that was closest to Thai food in LA. I went there today (1-11-18) and it was bad. I got pad woon sen and pad se ew, the pad se ew was only noodles, protein, broccoli and egg, no sauce. When I called the lady was very nice and apologized. She said she would make it right and they had a new cook.

Under new ownership and the food is similar to the days of Plang when Bangkok View was one of Grand Rapids first Thai places. The Pad Thai is in brown in color with a good sweet and sour flavor. The Pa Nang is smooth and sweet. The Fried Rice is quite tasty!

I haven’t been here for a while, but I just want to say that, according to my Thai wife, this place has the most authentic Thai food in town. She says it’s her favorite, but she hasn’t been there recently either. Maybe I ought to take her here some night?

Used to be the best Thai in town. Tonights meal was uninspiring. Pad Thai was white with no sauce, beef was tough and noodles were all sticky. Not near what it used to be. Time to find somewhere new.
