We came in with two kiddos and were happy to find something for everyone. Kid meals were solid and the sushi rolls were delicious. We were not as high on the noodles, but overall had a nice time. Our server was friendly and the restaurant was quiet and clean. We will be back to try more rolls!

This place is a little tricky to find for us, first timer, but it’s worthwhile. Ashley, is a terrific server. The food is yummy too as well as its ambience. I enjoy the piano music playlist. See posted pictures for what we tried. Definitely we will return.

Tonight was the first time eating at Sakura. The sushi & miso soup was the best I’ve had in Medford, hands down. I called ahead since we had a reservation for 5 adults & 2 kids & they had a table ready for us. It was busy (an obviously good sign for a Saturday night), & we had a little bit of a wait ordering our food, but it was totally worth it. Very fresh, great quality & flavorful food… Highly recommended.

I’m not sure what happened here but this place has really gone down. Last night I had the worst experience. First they tried to sit us at a dirty table that wasn’t even wiped down. Then we order our food. We were told there was a large table and the food may be a little longer than expected. And that’s totally fine. But the teriyaki chicken came and it was straight cold! When we mentioned it to our server he told us they would fix it by bringing hot teriyaki sauce, as if that could heat up chicken. Just because they too lazy to remake the plate. And $17 for cold chicken and the nastiest salad I’ve ever seen in my life is ridiculous! Also you shouldn’t be out of silverware because of a 12 person table. Trying to eat with little plastic forks is not cool for the prices you are charging. Sorry Sakura but I’ll be going to Hiro from now on.

Definitely the Salmon Roll is the best value and taste. Surprisingly good portions for the family and a variety of menu items though we’re stuck with just the sushi.

It may look like a hole in a wall, but the food is surprisingly good here. The fish was excellent quality, the miso soup was top notch, and even the green tea was prepared well. Parking was tricky, but that might have been Google’s fault!

Very impressive table service, sushi, and overall dining experience. We have eaten quite a few sushi restaurants here in the Rogue Valley and the sushi Japanese restaurant by far is the best I’ve had the waitresses were tentative knowledgeable, and offered great prompt service. We highly recommend Sakura Japanese restaurant for sushi here in Medford and the Rogue Valley.

When we came the only other table was occupied. And while dining, the place started to fill up quickly. So, I can imaging that the wait time may increase, as the place packs up.
The sushi rolls we ordered were good size and quality and very tasty. Personally, I liked the variety, though wouldn’t complain to see more sushis with fresh fish only.
Low volume music, mostly booths, couple tables, feels like good spot for dining in cozy and welcoming place.

this is my favorite place to get sushi! the servers are excellent, the food is quickly served with amazing quality, and their crunchy roll is to die for! you get the upmost bang for your buck here and i couldn’t be more pleased with this restaurant!
