We ordered the prawn on toast and tuna tartare and whilst I did enjoy the prawn one it was extremely small- 2 bites for £8 something. I was so disappointed with the tuna as it was so fishy- did not taste fresh at all and given the price this was not a good way to start.
I have to say the steak was great, we ordered the porterhouse and it was cooked well to how we ordered. The potatoes were great and crispy but the aioli was such an awful artificial texture- looked like it had come straight from a bottle so again given by the price and the promised quality I was not too impressed.
The lemon meringue pie was incredible and would highly recommend if you are going and they did give us a complimentary birthday cheesecake.
Overall I would say this restaurant is very over priced and I was really disappointed with the unfriendliness if the staff.
You absolutely have to try it!!

On top of that, we had to wait an unreasonably long time, and when we asked for a steak to take away, we were given two tiny, overcooked end pieces at an absurd price. We complained, and the worst part is that no one cared about our feedback. No one made the slightest effort to improve our experience.
This has never happened to us in any restaurant. The service was terrible. We will not be coming back.
