As a Thai person, I’m very picky about Thai food — and Boss Thai Cuisine truly impressed me!
We ordered the lo mein, khao soi, and tiew tom yum, and every dish tasted like home. The khao soi had a rich, creamy curry broth with the perfect balance of spice and depth. It reminded me so much of Northern Thailand. The tiew tom yum had that bold, authentic sour and spicy flavor — not watered down at all. You can really taste the fresh herbs and real Thai seasoning.
Even the lo mein was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and satisfying.
You can tell they don’t cut corners on ingredients. The flavors are authentic, strong, and exactly how Thai food should taste. I’m so happy to find a place that keeps the true Thai taste alive.
Highly recommend for anyone who wants real Thai flavors — not just “Americanized” Thai food. I will definitely come back again! ✨

The food was very tasty but in a dish where shrimp was the main feature there was three pieces. We also had the stir fried vegetables but it was a thin layer of stir fried vegetables on a huge pile of rice. We so got two salad rolls that were literally mostly lettuce with a very small amount of rice noodles inside and nothing else. The peanut sauce was thick like skippy. For the two of us it was $50 and it all fit in a small bag. If I were to prepare this meal at home it would be maybe $10.
The hot point we could get a plate of shrimp fried rice , and broccoli shrimp both dishes were loaded with shrimp we had spring rolls and drinks for 33 dollars

It’s nearly impossible to find good food in The Dalles. I come here occasionally for work and I tried boss Thai food truck and let me tell you it was a 10/10. I do food reviews, and you can look at my TikTok and check out the review. I did on this place and what I ordered. Ms.LongHairDontCare. The owner was very nice. The food was filling, extremely flavorful and worth the cost.

Really loved our dinner! Got the Chicken Basil Stirred Fried and Chicken Lo Mein (with a little spice). Both were outstanding and will definitely come back again. The owners were also really nice and helpful.

Delicious, authentic Thai food! I lived in Northern Thailand for over 2 years and was so excited to see that they serve Khao Soi. It was delicious and just how I remember it Also ordered a Thai tea, cashew chicken, and mango sticky rice. Everything was excellent

Grabbed a bite here as we were driving through to East Oregon. Two of us shared the red curry with chicken and an order of salad rolls (2). Both were delicious and portions were generous.
It’s conveniently located near the main road, but Google Maps took us on a strange route because of some Construction work.
Note, the eating situation is either outside or in a bar (on location) if you want warmth or quiet from the road. We went inside but it felt pretty dirty in there. Felt a little out of place but I think it’s great that there’s a warm (or cool in the summer) place to eat if needed.
Service was odd (only included one spoon for both of us and hardly any napkins) but we were happy about the quality of the food and we’d happily stop there again.

expanding curiosity
The mature woman and man in his twenties, both thai, were absolutely fun to talk to. They made my girlfriend and I reminisce about our travels to Thailand. The food was amazing the zab chicken was better than what we had in thailand. We got a thai ice tea, cashew chicken thai spicy. Definitely will be back on our travels through here. We are traveling from vancouver Washington to arizona. Thanks for the great food and smiles.

Just tried this place for the first time. The people are authentic, very kind, and professional. They are related to the famous lampeois out of Hood River. The food is spot on. Don’t hesitate to order and then plan to go back again!
