Amazing brewery! The food was delicious, great beer, and good service! They don’t do flights, but you can do tasters for $2 per beer. The happy hour cheese sticks were good and four came with the order. The BBQ burger was super saucy and to die for, had a little kick to it too. If you need a place to eat, go here!

I am surprised at some of the low reviews and the reasons for those. We always go around opening times. We don’t drink beer, so I can’t speak to those. This is an upscale (pricing) pub that sells art from a local artist, too. Her artwork is all over the interior walls. There is sidewalk seating, but yes, it is next to Main Street in Alamosa, so will have some road noise. Now, for the food, we ordered a Swiss bacon and mushroom hamburger…delicious. The side of fries were thick cut. The chorizo salad was tasty and large enough for an additional two meals out of it! I also ordered a side of sweet potato fries. They were waffle fries and came in a large basket. Even though they are expensive (almost $10), I also ate them for a total of three meals! The server was pleasantly chill. He came to our table often enough, but not too often to be obnoxious. The food was delivered quickly and appropriately hot or cold. Even though a bit pricey (our total tab for 2 people was $52), this is our favorite place to eat when visiting Alamosa!

Sat at the bar and ordered the 3 IPA’s they had on draft. The black IPA was my favorite. I ordered the Lucille sausage pasta and it was awesome. Entrees only served after 5pm. Great flavor and sauce was nice and creamy. The Caesar salad was outstanding with nice wide pieces of Parmesan cheese and tasty dressing. I ordered fries just to try them and they were crispy and very well seasoned. Great place to eat and have a few local beers.

Very nice place. My husband and I already had dinner that evening and just decided to check it out. We end up having a beer and appetizer. I do not drink beer, I had beer cocktail and it was amazing. The service was super friendly, place design and atmosphere were catching. Oh, they have 100 year old volt door where you can see all gears and locks. Very cool idea. We liked it so much that we came back the next day for lunch after visiting sand dunes. Will be our go-to place when in Alamosa.

My hubby and I where camping nearby with our pups and wanted to check out town and grab lunch. We choose San Luis Valley Brewing Co. Initially because they have patio space and allow dogs.

Our server Shanna was fantastic. She was super friendly and made great food recommendations. We needed up having burgers and fries. It was good. I liked the crisp and seasoning on the fries.

I also enjoyed the music playing. I’m one of those folks who actually listens to and enjoys background music. They were playing the 80s.

The first time we came here, we were sat at a table and weren’t acknowledged for 20 mins so we ended up leaving but We came the following day for hoppy hour and sat at the bar and we received service! Yay, the service at the bar was pretty good.
We tried a few different fews and all of them were fine ($4 for hoppy hour which was the draw)

5/12/23-This place came recommended, but it was a horrible food experience. Their beers were not good. The food was super greasy and bland. The service wasn’t even good. Like for example we asked the server if the chocolate hummus was good and he said that not only had he never tried it, but that he had never seen anyone order it. We tried it an it was a mistake. It was super gritty and just tasted of dry coco powder. Just a bad food experience around and I would recommend that people get food elsewhere.

Not sure how this place ended up with a 3.7 rating, but we absolutely loved our experience here. There’s a plenty big menu to choose from, we had sweet potato wafflefries, the BLT, the chorizo salad their hazy IPA, the red ale, and the stout. Everything was absolutely wonderful. We kind of doubted that we were going to get good service being that we were sitting outside, but the waitress was absolutely fabulous. Kimry did a great job. Would highly recommend.

Went to get a bite to eat after the bonfire Saturday we were sat pretty quick but then we waiting for about 25 mins and not a single server came to even bring us a drink. They were more concerned about busting tables then getting us drink and the table being bust was right in front of us….absolute terrible service here I’ve had the food and for the most part it’s good but yeah service is definitely a fail

The ambiance was nice and the server was attentive. The food was ok, nothing to write home about, but if you are looking for beer it’s a decent place. They only had 3 of their own beers on tap which was slightly disappointing and their beers to go were more expensive than we’ve seen. Overall, decent, wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.
