If you want great food and great cocktails this is it. Ordered the haddock piccata over pasta and it was absolutely delicious. Generous portion of fish and perfectly seasoned lemon caper sauce. Nice seafood menu. Their clam chowder is full of tender clams and flavor. Homemade onion rings thin, crispy and sweet. Caesar salad, fried oysters and cheese pizza was all a win. Comfy local place with pleasant service.

This place was so so good. The food was top notch and something different. I was able to finally try a lobster roll almost 4 years after moving to the East coast. Matt was our server and he was wonderful. He was so friendly and attentive to us and I really enjoyed that so much. The food came out quickly and piping hot and was everything I could have wanted. I would happily come back because the food and service were amazing. I hope that Matt sticks around for a long time to come he made the visit enjoyable along with the food.

Great spot along the waterfront.
I was warned that the fisherman’s platter could serve my foursome but tried on my own anyway…I was unsuccessful due to the quantity of fresh shellfish and a very generous portion of haddock…I also started with a couple of excellent stuffed quahogs that were nicely seasoned and well worth the price. My dining partners enjoyed surprisingly good cheese ravioli and butternut squash ravioli.
All told, a great meal!

I love Hull and this restaurant. The prices are so honest and the service is always friendly and kind. Come to Hull and eat at this restaurant while you’re enjoying your day on the beach. Come over and have a drink and enjoy your day even more!

We came very hungry about 15 minutes before closing and they still took us, treated very well and never rushed us (of course, we tried to hurry up). The food was real homemade, super fresh, tasty and enjoyable. The waitress was very nice. It’s spacious and pleasant inside. I think this is now our new favorite place in that area!

After a long week of work, we spent a little time along the water to decompress. After that, we chose Schooners for a couple of their specials. We started with the Calamari, which was lightly breaded and hit the spot.
My wife selected the Sausage Orecchiette, which was hot, nicely spiced, and plentiful. I went with an End Cut of Prime Rib. It looked perfect, but it was barely warm.
I had a small bite or two before our very nice server returned. By that time, I had trimmed off the small amount I knew would be enough for dinner to be warmed in the kitchen – the rest wld be snacks or meals for the next few days.
Our server returned with my heated pieces of the End Cut and more unnecessary apologies, and they were very good. Normally, this could have been more upsetting, but given the end of a long week, and some relaxing time along the water, why bother getting worked up?
Everything worked out fine in the end.
Return visit on 9/27
Prime Rib again for me – great flavor on the End Cut, and it was hot! I made it thru <1/3 and I took nearly 2 lbs home. My wife had Chicken Gorgonzola, which needed more cheese flavor in the sauce. Very busy. Great server, Dinah.

Return visit midweek for a ToGo Meal 11/20
The banter at the bar was familiar and friendly; the bartenders seemlessly traded off, minutes by minute; everything was comfortable to the max – even the discussions among customers, everything just flowed.
The chowder was a bit thin, while I waited for 2 meals to go. The steak tips appeared skimpy, but once I poured the to go veggies, the plate was filled; my wife enjoyed the veggie House Special, which is my goal when I cook!

We sat down, and there was one prime rib left, and it was an End Cut = Pefect, they’re calling my name!

My friends and I were staying in the area while visiting Boston. We ate here twice, and it was delicious. The service is excellent and the food is good. I had a grilled cheese and French Onion Soup the first night and it was delicious. The second night I had a Caesar salad and the Coconut Shrimp appetizer. Everything was very fresh and really good. I would definitely recommend this for dinner!
